Hi out there!
Here's my problem. I have a TG3 Data 911 keyboard which I purchased specifically because of the backlit feature. This keyboard is not being used with a PC but was instead purchased as a data input / touchpad for a lighting console but on initial hookup, the touchpad functioned well but the keyboard output garbage. When I contacted Support at the lighting console's parent company, they informed me that the lighting console is not outputting enough power to illuminate the backlit LED's and provide enough power for keyboard function also. So I'm considering bypassing the power feed to the LED's off the circuit board and installing either a removable small button battery with a chassis mounted on/off switch or a power input fed by a power adapter. Is this possible?
