I didn't like the red plate that comes with the duck poker case for a number of reasons.

Thankfully The_Beast decided to make a custom plate that hides the pcb better, allows stem swapping after installing the plate, can use costar stabilizers after sanding, and blends with the case a lot better.

Here are some pics:

here is a pic of the sanded plate next a second The_Beast plate I haven't touched yet for another poker I own.

I like the combination of the darker modifiers and the white keys. But you're right... I'm looking for a german dolch set since a long time, but never found one for a reasonable price.... But maybe there's a gmk groupbuy for it with german addon option in the future

It doesn't look that bad. Maybe take a photo with better light and less novelty keys.

Ah, German Dolch would be really hard to find... Hopefully you can find your set in a GMK group buy next year

And yeah novelty keys have the tendency to ruin the look of nice sets. I've taken all novelties off my boards.

On topic: I will be receiving my first Poker in a week or two, so I will be able to join this thread then

That plate won't work with a Pure, since the Pure has a short right shift and the ~ key next to it. Maybe someone could modify the drawing for it so The_Beast could have some Pure plates made next time.

But ya. The beast is doing the GH60 plate, so it may be possible to piggy back on that one. Though, that'd make me want to get the PCB too.

I have the metal plate. It's with Halverson right now. Also modding it to green switches when I install the plate. As for a case. I'm trying to find a way to get one painted in rasta color (red yellow green) then adding a few other keys to match that theme like the red space bar. I would love NIQMODS to do it somehow. All future plans. It's going to look way different when it's done
