Love it! Certainly interested

By looking at the sets would the Adapter kit cover the TADA68 and the new RS96 verIII ( currently on MD)?

Maybe you should buy a Planck/Atomic kit to match a 68 layout.  :)

I looked but couldn't really tell... Is there a 1.5 R3 BBJ anywhere in any of the sets? Legend doesn't matter.

We haven't made a 1.5u BBJ key in R3. Where do you want to use?

It would be my enter key in a custom layout but I know there are 1.5 R3 caps in the set that I could use. I just wanted a dash of that sweet BBJ color and I didn't think I'd end up with any. I forgot that I could use the two 1.25 R3 BBJ caps from Novelties-1 in my bottom row so no worries. :D

That’s OK!

and as a suggestion, SA Dasher and Dancer keysets also have BBJ color keys with white legends,
If you really need a BBJ 1.5u R3 keycap, you should  go to have a look.
It will be launched in 12.12.2016.

As I mentioned in the IC thread over at DT, I think Dasher/Dancer and Mechanist make for brilliant companion sets to each other.

If I might offer one suggestion: you might not want to use BBJ legends with WA keycaps. The contrast is too low, IMO. Below is an image showing just the luma of two of your colorway samples, and you can see how poor the contrast is between the legends and the keycaps when BBJ legends are used on WA keycaps in the lower example. Notice how much better the contrast is when you use BFR for the legends, as in the upper example. Maybe go with something like BFP legends with the white keycaps.

Just something to consider.

Since the requirment is getting more and more, I added more keys and sets.
This makes us a little worried, even if the group opens oneday, some kits are hard to meet the moqs.

Yes you are right.
the Frozen Alphas set looks a little  bit low contrast.

In fact, at the very beginning, we only developed the BFM Alphas (with BFR legend) as the main alpha set,
as some user want more choise ,We added the Fronzen Alphas set,
Frozen Alphas (WA with BBJ legend) look low contrast, but more elegent.
We will consider about  the font color, BFP or some other dark colors. Thank you.

Another solid looking keyset to consider. There are so many good IC kits right now that my wallet is going to be in serious trouble if they all make it to production.

Have you given more thought as to whether or not you'll change the frozen alphas' font color? I like this set so much, but my main concern is that it'll have the same problem as Chronicler (too low-contrast)

I don't quite understand what color the Chronicler used, maybe the same with DCS Soware,
If it's the same with Soware, the alphas color are  GTD(BFQ). that‘s really difficult to identify the alphas at all.

I compared it with Frozen Alphas, obviously, the contrast of Frozen Alphas is higher.
or we can use BFR legends on WA keycaps to add more contrast.
I will make some mock-ups to show which is better later.

Personally, I like BBJ color on WA, that looks more "frozen" ;)

I like the colors you have going on now but agree with alveeno, this might look really cool. I'd really like alphas the same color as the mods legends/novs. Kind of like how SA carbon ran the orange alphas that matched their novs/mod legends

I tried to make a mock up pic as you required.
For the reference, the third pattern of the alphas changed to BBJ(BFR legend), They look like Carbon orange alphas color way.

but, I bend the color to black and white to check the contrast, they look even harder to identify the lengend.

I don't like the idea of BBJ alphas, to be honest. It looks less like the cold and cool mechanism theme than the other two colors, and the contrast is too low. Plus, three different colors of alphas lowers the chances of any given color reaching MOQ or the price drop points. It's also very similar to Dancer SA. In fact, anyone who has their heart set on BBJ alphas could buy one of the extra MassDrop Dancer kits and mix it with Mechanist.

If this aint BFM (BFR), I will choke the living hell out of the goon that goes with any other way colour-way with this design.

You're right the new colored alphas would look to close to dasher/dancer and not as good in my opinion. I think alveeno was also saying try one were you kept the current mod base color but changed the mod legends to the color or the base alpha (BFM)

Either way I'm starting to get excited about this set!

New render looks awesome! I was leaning towards the original alphas but that render may sway me.
How are you going to handle the child kits that have heavy alpha content like Colevrak and Internation? Will you offer two versions to support both alpha colors or are you going to have a primary alpha color and only offer the child kits with that color?

I will keep the those child kits with the primary color (BFM), I will not make more Frozen Colevrak,ISO,International .because if I develope Colevrak and international with the same color of Frozen alphas, the kits become more and hard to hit the MOQ.
I believe the BFM alpha also looks cool, I can't wait to make more renders to check how they look. Please wait a moment.

the more i look at this the more excited i get. SA carbon is my favorite set and this feels like a blue version of that. I know they are different themes but i like that it follows the same setup as carbon with two different colored alphas and a row of 1u novelties. really like the way this is going so far and as long as it stays on this path ill definitely be committed to this.
