I stand corrected. However, getting them is still quite a PITA.
On the other hand, most GMK sets provide 2.25u + 1.75u for Shifts and 2.25u + 2.75u for split spacebars, which I find to be a more reasonable and widely available option.

Hey!

The group buy will only start once I believe that all of the parts will be produced with the highest quality. All orders will be inspected before they are shipped, and as this is a custom product there won't be any refunds issued once the keyboard has been shipped. If you experience any issues within 2 weeks of receiving your order, then replacement parts will be issued.

The Aluminium will be anodised, the same as any custom keyboard. I can't comment on the durability of the white keyboard, as the method of how that colour will be applied is currently still being investigated. All orders will be checked before they are shipped.

That is the weight, which will be inserted through the front of the case via the back of the front side.

North facing switches have a clearance issue with GMK and ePBT caps. The caps will hit the side of the switch before the switch bottoms out. For 100% luxury, I think that GMK support should be mandatory.

ps. How much does the brass inlay 'weight' in the front of the case protrude into the case? I wonder how much weight it adds to the case.

Thank you for informing me of this issue. I will investigate this further, and if any modifications to the PCB are required, they will be carried out.

Actually, I think all profile support should be mandatory for 100% luxury. If I want to make my own custom luxurious high profile caps (similar to matt3os), and the board did not support my own keycaps, I don't think it would be luxurious.

At 40g, aka 0.08lbs I would consider calling this an insert. While it technically adds weight, it wont do much to weigh down the board.

After all of the feedback, some changes are being made.

Here is a list of all the planned changes:

- The weight/insert on the front of the case is going to be removed. I am looking to replace this with a design on the underside of the case in either the form of a brass weight, or an engraving into the actual surface of the case.

I am in the process of selecting which renders will be added to this post, and the most recent ones feature the branding on the front. Please ignore this.


- This kit will feature south facing LEDs.
- This kit will support a split space bar. The render of the PCB at the top of this page is currently incorrect.
- The colour options will most likely be as follows: Matte Black Aluminium, Polished Black Aluminium, and Raw Aluminium for those who want to colour their case on their own.
- Unfortunately there will most likely be one option for the PCB (Black with White Silkscreen).
- Each kit will come with a sleeve, cable and cleaning cloth included.

Are you trying to limit the colors in this one to be all black? Is that the luxury aspect? Less options?

I understand you have unfinished as an option for people to get this anodized on their own, or if they like raw aluminum, but most people don't have the resources to get this re-ano'd. If you choose the Raw option will the price be reduced to account for the fact that they will need to ano this themselves? Will it ship sooner since they will not have to be sent off for ano?

The only way to offer a complete package is to restrict the colour options. Each new colour added means that a new option for the cable/sleeve/PCB has to be created.

The raw aluminium version will be slightly cheaper than the coloured versions however at this time I can’t comment on exact pricing or lead times.

Regarding the embroidery on the sleeve; a design is be created that will hopefully be applied to the packaging, the back of the keyboard, sleeve and everywhere else that it would be appropriate to add the design to.

I have a sample of the cable, it is very nice and I will have more images/information on all of the accessories soon.

I haven't seen the price anywhere, but you can expect it's going to be pretty high. After all, it has 100% luxury and doesn't really compromise on that front; as opposed to other boards, who use compromise to achieve varying degrees of luxury.

So, no matter what it will be priced, it doesn't matter, as you know you'll be getting that luxury.
