I’m a big fan of the burgundy alphas and darker burgundy mods. I can see why it would remind some of Choclatier because of that, but the red hue goes a long way and makes this distinctly different . Really excited for this set. Thanks!

The brown used in the brown alpha kit is the same as chocolatier. However, I'm not sure it would go well with the dark burgundy mods; the brown alphas may just be scrapped.

Would you consider adding the three additional keys to the hiragana kit for JIS Kana IME compatibility (for actually typing using kana)? As a bonus that would make it have enough keys to support ISO and HHKB layouts.

I think the fact it is SA when Red Samurai is GMK is difference enough, plus the Brown mods give it quite a different tone.

These keys are used in those positions on actual Japanese keyboards, but for some reason most “Japanese” kits and sets do not include them so the kana are really just for show. Another reason for adding them is that the additional R1 key fleshes out HHKB support and the two other keys are the right row for ISO support for people who would prefer total coverage in their layout of choice.

If you add an iso kit and enough novelties, it should be enough for a 109-key japanese layout. I've been wanting one of those in SA for a long time.

I don't think I'm going to do this, as it'll just further drive up the price for everyone buying mods. If you need the 1.5u backspace, you should probably just stick with the extension kit!

I understand having specific novolties that are off limits....but, what's going to happen when all the main color combinations have been used up? It's kind of like saying that there can only be one car company that can have a red car with black accents and no other company can have a vehicle with red and black. Even if its a truck or motorcycle.

As far as updates go, we're going to have this in a matte finish. Also, *don't* quote me on this, but I wouldn't be surprised if this set was sub 90.
