Title: KBDFans 60% Wood Case
Post by: merlin64 on Wed, 07 February 2018, 14:38:45
I've never tried what a wooden keyboard was like before as quite a few of them were either too expensive, or just didn't fit my aesthetic requirements. This finally fit the bill and I'm glad to have purchased it!

Great review! I've been looking for a good wood case, so I'll have to check this one out. Out of curiosity, did you do any sound tests to see if the felt pad changed the sound?

Felt pad was too thin to make any noticeable difference.

I've got the same case in Zebra. Yours looks like it sits nicely on the desk. Is it nice and square? Mine is warped - the wrist rest badly to the point of being useless (not that I use it anyway), the case is ok if you put a card (e.g. credit card) under one of the foot pads. Maybe it's something about Zebra wood?

I'm sorry to hear yours is warped =(. We are also in different countries and using a different wood. I'm no wood expert but I'm pretty sure they respond differently to humidity.

Great video. Way more than I thought I would have wanted to know about this case but found it all useful.
