Hi,

As the subject says. Do the different series of Cherry keyboard (G80, G81, G82 etc.) use identical key caps, or are the key caps specific to each series? (I'd specifically like to know whether I can replace key caps on a G80 series keyboard with ones from a G81 or G83 series board.)

MY switch's keycaps can be swapped with MX keycaps. That would be G81 series for the MY and G80 for the MX.

I don't know what switches G82 series keyboards use.

MY Switches? I thought the G81 series were rubber dome types.

MY switches are membranes with a spring assembly on top, so yes, they are. They feel just like a membrane though.
