Asking for help: Rainbow LED remains unchanged.

I have got M65-A for half a month, recently I find that the rainbow LED remain unchanged several minutes after the computer starts.

The current firmware is :ps2avrGB_NKRO.hex , which is downloaded from : https://github.com/showjean/ps2avrU/releases

Could anyone tell me what is wrong and what I can do to fix this problem, thank you very much !

I received my M65-A last Friday and it looks amazing! The box is awesome and really adds to the experience. It'll be a while before I get all the parts I need to assemble it but just quickly putting the frame together just makes me happy. I won't be able to participate in the build log contest but I'm really looking forward to seeing how others are assembling their boards and the setups they chose.

Huge thanks to jchan94 for putting in all this work to make this happen and the awesome communication throughout. And for the cute message on the box  ;D

Hm, that's weird! I've been checking them before, and didn't see this. Mightve slipped.

Email support@keyclack.com for some help with replacing it.

Yes. It is programmable up to what Bootmapperclient allows for the standard PCB and up to your/community coding on the QMK PCB.

Speaking of this...Is there a good tutorial about how to program the firmware for Macs?

If you're talking about using QMK, you should simply check out the QMK docs available here: https://docs.qmk.fm/
Any mac specific instructions for setting up a build environment can be found under "Build Environment Setup" on the left hand panel.  QMK has amazing documentation imo.

Just about done with QC.

It's probably been said somewhere in this thread, but where can I find the firmware and programming info for the PCB? And jchan, if possible can you update the original post to have links/info for programming the board?

The answer to that is dependent on whether you got the QMK upgrade or not.

You would have paid an additional invoice for the QMK upgrade.

Ok, pretty sure I didn't do that. So... does that mean it's not programmable?

It's programmable, but it'll actually be simpler for someone new to it since it's a PS2AVRGB PCB. You can google and find many many guides and multiples interfaces for programming those PCBs.

Updated the first post with programming info.

Also, I'm finishing up QC and then finishing shipping what I have. It's a lot sorting for those opting out of stabs and those in, and such. Literally a stack here with people who want stabs.

Finishing up the customs clearance. It should be here Monday  :thumb:

For clarification, was there a cutoff for that Google form opting into/out of stabs? For example, if I filled it out yesterday evening and opted out, will my board be going out any sooner than the ones still waiting for stabs? Or would it have just been sorted into the "waiting" pile already?

Thanks in advance.

Yay, I received my M-65 and its so very beautiful.

For those of you who ordered an extra bottom, was there an option to order more rubber feet for them?  Just realized I only have 2.

For those who received their m65s, has anyone tried fitting standard holtites sockets for switches? I remember early on jchan said they might not be compatible, but now that they're out, you never know.

I got my m65-a yesterday and put most of it together but waited until today to solder it. This side shot is now my new wallpaper  :p

Nice pics everyone! I'm wondering, Mr. Chan, if those of us who opted-out of stabs are getting ours shipped out? I was hoping that by opting-out it would expedite the process, however I haven't seen an update since I started following the shipping progress.

What a build this was. Really nice presentation from RAMA and jchan. Not sure what caps are going on it yet, but I like this view for the time being.

From the looks of it, Zealios are a popular choice for this keyboard (that's what I'm planning on putting on it also).
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

The world has become a weird place.

I might be late for a reply, but for others trying to program the PS2AVRGB..

Really simple to program thankfully :]

Yea... I assumed the same too. If the stabs arrive before the rest of the boards are shipped I'll most likely have to cancel my stabilizer opt-out.

what stabs are you guys talking about?
I thought the stabs were already shipped with the m65-a?

jchan was short on 2u stabs so he had to get more from GMK which arrive next Monday. People were able to opt out for receiving stabs so they could receive their boards earlier (e.g. people that already have stabs)
