I think I had heard somewhere about a TX84 SE coming up, wondering if that's true? Or it is basically the left over of TX84?

to my knowledge there are no TKL leftovers

You guys are correct. Those are lz iron man and ergo but he doesn’t have pcb or plate to sell em. They only have top and bottom housing.

Popkorn,

Possible to buy LZ Ergo Black top only please?

Hi boo,

Hi guys,

It’s getting very very close already! However, we’re bumping into a small hiccup. All the acrylic gaskets are defective...kin is reordering and expecting to receive new ones in 2 weeks. Thus, shipping will start in 2 weeks.

Every order will have both 8-piece ones and 1-piece one.

Really appreciate your patience!

That’s a nice move with one piece gaskets. The 8 piece one on my board is the only thing I dislike.

Hi guys,

I think it is reasonable that, since we are only 1-2 weeks away from dispatch, no changes to order can be made.

Yes and no,

I knew it might cause confusion so I put “Base Price includes housing, weight and acrylic gasket”. No PCB and plate included yet.

TX-CP prices will be updated later when there are stocks :)

Hi guys,

Since the day that we will sell extras thru the website is coming close, anyone has any suggestions on how to receive the payment? Paypal is still freezing kin’s account for both tx1800 and txcp GBs LOL. I already accepted some payments for him in the summer so I’m not comfortable doing that since IRS may be watching. Seems like a bad choice especially when I do not make money from this.

Whoa dude...

Extras are b-stocks and only available after the GB is done.

Is there any other service that offers protection like PP does? I feel like that would be requirement for buying expensive stuff online.

Korean GBs are typically done with bank transfer, interestingly enough.

Paypal is the best we've got.

Alright, let's go service by service:

I don't see South Korea, China, or Vietnam on this list. Stripe is out for most Asian GBs.

The "limited set of countries" is the same as Stripe's. Check the link below.

Admittedly, I don't know much about bitcoin. Would this be any different than a bank transfer? Does bitcoin have chargebacks? Does bitcoin have seller/buyer protections?

How would you get people to convert to bitcoin/other cryptos from regular currency? How would this help people with limited technical skills, or who don't have the time to learn how to use bitcoin?

Im plenty relaxed, the dude just has to much time on his hands or something. 99% of his posts are him being condescending in some way or another. I mean, why spend 30 minuets going to each site and literally taking screenshots, and making a big elaborate post on why all the suggestions suck when he could just say "None of those sites are available in South Korea."

I think my concern stems from the buyer protection.

Since kin will probably not going to run a GB again anytime soon, we will only sell boards that in stock.

It can work like this:

Buyer pays invoice => Probably through a payment processor other than Paypal => Payment confirmation => Receive goods

If dispute:
Send invoice through contact form => Should have answers within 48 hours => If resolved: refund or have a different shipping date; if not you can always charge back through banks since you have the receipt?

Sorry this is like word salad but I’m at work and can’t draw a pic LOL

You can't charge back like that in the US unless the payment is drawn from a credit card.

Oh...

Hmm...

Then I’d advise everyone to pay using a credit card?

I feel like we hit a wall every time I think about this.

Maybe this is a stupid question from someone who's never participated in a group buy, but is it often that someone disputes and/or requests a refund? I figured if its for B-Stock, I buy one, I wait, it comes in, ? , profit?

Am I wrong for assuming that?

GB usually has huge delays (like this one right now). People may want a refund if it takes longer than 6 months to conclude and may also want a new invoice to refresh that 6 months protection by Paypal. The thing is, once you paid, all those money go to production. Kin has to take his own money to refund those. It’s just bad overall. That’s why i asked him to let me communicate to calm you guys and to reassure he’s not going anywhere with your money.

I didn’t get my first tx1800 until 7 months later (and I bought the spot from someone else who already waited 6 months) and it was fine. It was a production thing. Kin obviously wants to conclude GB in time but factory kept sending defective products. He’s just trying his best and hoping everyone will understand.

If it’s just simply selling something in stock, I doubt that there’ll be many disputes. He’s quite quick in dispatching process.

However, again, I know people will want protection regardless of what they’re buying. If it’s simple, I’d just tell people to pay in bitcoin ;).

Hi there,

We are all in the same situation. Metal gasket is the last piece needed before dispatch. We all want it as soon as possible but I cannot speak for the factory...they are working on them as we speak.

The best I can offer you at this point is a refund.

ETA is before the end of this year so we don’t have to change the date again :(.

Really appreciate the patience.

Hi guys,

Kin will receive the metal gaskets and acrylic diffuser this week. Hopefully to send it out next week. Apologies to US buyers since you guys will probably not get it before Thanksgiving :(.

@boo: he’ll start shipping next week.

Hyped!  Pass along to Kin that his US buyer right here will gladly take shipment whenever its ready (and that I would be thrilled to send in another order whenever he is free to do more!)

Hi Popkorn,

Different board but by any chance do you know if there's an update on the fixed gray r2 tx-cp's and when they'll go out? The last time I asked Kin he said early-mid November.
