Ergodox and strange issue flashing firmware
« on: Sat, 17 March 2018, 10:05:10 »
Hi,

I’m having a very strange issue flashing my recently built ergodox. When it reboots following the flash all the modifiers are detected as being pressed. Using the OSX Keyboard Viewer I can turn these off, but the the board seems to be stuck in the last layer defined in the firmware.

I’ve found that this happens with firmware from both the Ergodox EZ online tool (any firmware download, not just my own) and the Keymap I have put together in QMK. It’s the same whether I flash from QMK Tools or the teensy tool.

At first I thought it was a bad soldering job registering a key as always pressed, but then I flashed the default firmware from within the QMK Tool downloaded from qmk.fm - that worked completely fine and without issue.

Has anyone come across this before?
