Why so many options for a full set alone? :hurt:
I don't know what to get.

Can you please offer the 1.5x separately like Tsangan said?

I thought I remembered seeing a picture of an existing keyboard using this style in the huge round 4 thread but finding anything in there anymore is sort of impossible. Does anybody still have it or know where to get another picture? Would be nice to be able to see what it would look like.
Layout: Colemak
Fastest typing speed: 131 WPM on typeracer, 136 WPM on 10fastfingers.
Daily driver: Filco Tenkeyless MX Brown with ergonomically weighted, lubed springs.
Ergo keyboards: Truly Ergonomic, Kinesis Advantage, Ergodox

Hmm.. I was under the impression that this set looked closer to 7bits avatar. In this pic in particular, the blue looks really bright.

What's 7bits avatar from? That's what I was hoping for.

If I would like to order at set for my filco tkl SE layout, the order should look like this?

RETRO/TKL
RETRO/SE
RETRO/SPACE/GREY

price - 53$+23$+2$+shipping?
Does the SE kit include everything needed, like short left shift and iso enter? Every key would fit the board? I just want to make sure because I'm not too familiar with those groupbuys.

Just Sent a message to 7bit_R4 for RETRO/STDRGBYSYM and RETRO/SPACE.

Now I sit back and wait............and wait.................and wait.....................

But I am at least glad that 7Bit has now decided to break each keyset into order sections.  What's next SPH or Round3 group buy?

To 7bit, maybe I'm a little SLOW, but what is going to happen with all the orders in R4 Group Buy?

Are they now dead and buried, or do we delete them, or do you delete them?  Just eager to know what will happen with all the OLD Group 4 Orders.

He said it.

This thread is only to make it more simple for everyone.

You can read the first page:

It is all the same. I offer the more popular stuff here and the rest you must read the wiki and pricelist.

I will try to make the pricelist more readable.

RETRO/STANDARD125 is available.

Or on page 2:

Just to confirm, a set of just the modifiers from RETRO/SYMRGBYTKL will cost $69? Wow I might as well get 2 retro sets with different modifiers. Wait, that's what you want isn't it 7bit?!

Oh and I believe one of the RETRO/SYMRGBYTKL kits on the first page should be RETRO/SYMRGBYSTD. Just a heads up.

one last question: is it possible to get a single \|-key? because I'm missing these when I put keycaps from an ISO keyboard to an ansi keyboard like the poker or the noppoo. Even cooler would be an # ' key in this size (germans know why)

One fit all does not work.

If I offer only a STANDARD kit which fits almost everything, people complain that they have to buy more key caps they can't use than key caps they actually can use. Then I add TKL. But this is not enough!

Others want TKL for exotic layouts, TENKLESS is born.

Or those whoh just want them to fit on a G80-3000 with windows keys:
STANDARD125

And so on ....

(Not mentioning language specific layouts etc.)

BTW: I get now more orders, so the new concept is good.

:-)

..Sorry ya'll. Can someone explain to this baboon what all these acronyms/variations mean?

RETRO/TKL
RETRO/STANDARD (for 101/104 key Filco and Cherry keyboards)
RETRO/STANDARD125 (for 104 key Filco and Cherry keyboards; 1.25 units modifiers)
RETRO/STANDARD150 (for 101 key Filco and Cherry keyboards; 1.5 units modifiers)

What's a TKL, and what is the difference between regular standard from the 125, or 150?

I have a full keyboard.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯‎

Are these prices up to date?

TKL is tenkeyless. you don't want it.

125 has 1.25 width modifiers (ctrl, alt, windows, meta). you probably want this, depending on what board you have.
150 has 1.5 width modifiers. I think this is for layouts with no windows key to the right of the space bar.

Someone confirm?

TKL/TKEYLESS is for a keyboard with no numberpad. TKEYLESS contains more keys than TKL that allows adaptation to certain keyboards with different key sizes/stem locations. TKL will fit most of the new generic Ten Key Less keyboards.

Standard125 fits full layout keyboards with 1.25x modifiers (e.g. filco). This is most keyboards.
Standard150 is similar cocept with 1.50x modifiers.
Standard should fit all keyboards as it contains ALL the keys from the variations

Edit: Ninjaed

150 is 1.5x modifiers. 1x width win key (or none).
