Recently we have grown suspicion that someone or a group of people from China has been abusing our lack of tracking via overseas.
In the past 3 months we have refunded $2432.96 with the majority of the paypal emails consisting of random numbers, coming from the domain @qq.com
EVERY single order was a large order. And nearly every time we were contacted through alternate emails(not the emails they used their purchases for) for their refunds.
We have at one point used Express Mail with tracking at our own expense and was still unsuccessfully able to track the package.
Normally undelivered packages usually return to us but to this date we have yet to receive a single package back.
We're a small company and things like these are not easy to deal with.
So for now we regret to say that all orders from China will be temporarily rejected until we can figure out a solution to this.
This is simply for us to stay afloat as a small company. We hope you all understand.
Thanks

Update: We have taken extra precautions and will be opening up sales through our private vendors soon.

That sucks meng. I hate dealing with shady people. Good luck on getting to the bottom of this.
-
Oof, sorry to hear this. Hope things improve.
-
Jesus. I have dealt with Chinese people with @qq.com before what does this stand for? Or mean? And I hope you get this sorted!

qq is a messenger owned by TenCent, their equivalent of Hotmail or Gmail. Just something they can use to open up multiple email accounts.

Sorry that this has happened to you. I hope you're able to resolve this.

It sucks when Paypal protects the buyers instead.
Perhaps for large orders it's better to get them insured, etc.
I hope everything goes better from here on out.
-
Thats just a shame :/
Hope you can resolve this, good luck.

Actually, this happens with standard credit card companies too.

Cut 'em off and never go back. Also, make every possible attempt to notify Paypal of fraud.

This. Hopefully you can help prevent this from happening more often and to other people. No reason why you shouldn't be vocal with paypal.
Sorry to hear about you getting scammed. :(

Man that is a **** ton of money to lose. We have some genuine scums even within a small niche area like keyboards. I've been scammed by a few international shipping instances as well, but not on this magnitude. Sorry to hear about this huge loss.

Is the "random numbers" thing because they use numeric user accounts, like the old ICQ accounts?
-
Fortunately we've solved this problem by designating one Chinese vendor for all keycap sales in China.

I think you will not be happy for something like that. You should have something similar to the Japanese is doing, they called the Insured EMS or EliteKeyboard is doing high quality Express (FedEx), it not only protects the seller but ensures the responsibility of the buyer. IMO, true buyers with large quantity will not be afraid of paying high quality shipping service. I think it will be fair for the case of the packages really get lost during the travel.

Hey , I am Buddha, I usually use @hotmail.com but I registered paypal with @qq.com. So dont think I am the guy likes ur words.

That really sucks. Have you tried "registered mail" for First Class and Priority overseas? It costs $11-$12 but it does track all the way till delivered. But why was the Express Mail unable to track? It should be though.

Express/ Priority/ Registered Mail were all successful in tracking for our consumers in other countries except China.
We're not sure what was going on but a lot of our packages were being unsuccessfully delivered. Out of 9 large orders we delivered to China, we only received 2 back.
We have developed a more safe system for delivery but for now we will be distributing most of our goods through private vendors in China to help distribute our keycaps safely.
We are not trying to state that all Chinese buyers are bad people in any way. We hope nobody misunderstands this.
If we have offended anybody we'd like to truly apologize for the misunderstanding.
