If we're talking about hiding cables, this one's gotta be amongst the best (NOT my room (as much as I wish it was), not my pictures, sorry, can't remember where I found them):

that's.... that's beautiful, man

no feet cables, it's like some kind of dream! but yes, the speaker placement sucks. just get some nice desktop speakers or put those on stands with the cables running inside the tubes.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Nice first post, nice setup :)

Nice headphone stand too :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I dig the green lighting MUCH more than the red it had, and the blue that my buddy has.

Maybe time for a new mousepad?  Also do you still have the plastic around the edge of your monitor?

Hmm I may have to steal that idea. You just put a couple LED strips under the desk?

Yea, going to steal this. I have some LED strips behind my TV in the living room and really love them, allows you to turn off all the lights but still have that ambient lighting so its not such a harsh contrast between the TV and the dark room.

bah i didnt come up with the idea, i saw it while looking at some computer cases. Hoping i can start getting some work done with the faint light while the gf sleeps. Then set them to strobe and slam on the mx greens to wake her ass up :P

I don't understand, why companies keep making stuff with the ****ing glossy plastic. It's an ergonomic nightmare (reflections) and horrible to keep clean and unscratched.

...I actually do understand that. "Oh, a shiny thing! I want that!"

Cranberry juice on black plastic shouldn't really have any effect, It might even be worse to have a layer of thin plastic over, in that case.

What's an esports condo? Like a condo where they hold events?

Nah ... well we are hosting a party here tomorrow which is why I'm even here but it's just my friend who hosts a ton of Toronto esports stuff's place. eSports Canada crew hangout :P

He makes a living off of it? Like an actual full annual income playing video games? HA! Take that mom, 17 years ago.

I can gladly recommend this setup, unless you´re planning on doing 3-monitor game then this won't suit you.
Otherwise, great with vertical monitors for more veritcal-focused(?) content - such as reddit, irc, forums etc.

my god...3 monitor gaming is a thing? tbh i would feel like the bezels would be too distracting for that to even work.

Nope, 3 monitor gaming is awesome. Especially for racing games. (You honestly dont even notice the bezels after a while)

Although I just prefer running in single screen while playing competitive multiplayer type games.

This is my goal set up. I already have the 2 side monitors and LOVE them for browsing forums or reading posts. It's much more convenient in portrait mode.

It's not really the quality but the style! The quality ain't bad but the style/tone you took it at is awesome.

Miyazaki is the bomb.

Have another one then, with a better look in the beloved universe.

Thank god for displayfusion, really helps when you have different sized monitors with the same resolution.

YUSSS. DAT IS AWESOME. And I use and love display fusion too!!! Too bad I can only have 2 monitors :( Also love how the aluminum ring on the M50's reflect light :D I'll have to take a pic like that sometime with my red ones.
