Should wait for my hyperfuse to arrive but.. Nah
Built a new desk to match the loft I just moved into. A standing desk!

That one HHKB looks incredibly sad.
It's a temporary arrangement. I have an oxblood mod set coming in from Key Kollective. For now, though, I took some keys from the realforce to use.

What articulating desk boom is that? I'm in the market for a new one, as mine isn't long enough  :(

Well, if you're in a happy relationship, then that's winning; if unhappy relationship, that's losing; if single and no dating for 10 years, what is this I don't even.

Single for 10 years yes lol.. That means no dating, not even ~hand holding~, nothing. I have reasons for it happening (Had a bad work accident 10 years ago and ended up crippled.. 15 procedures and surgeries in the last two years alone kinda complicates things). But yeah, it still sucks though. I'm not in any rush though, still young ;)

Love it, it's easy to clean and works great. I really should add the extra buttons though.

It has jacks on the back so you can add them yourself. I hate to say it but ripster's guide is probably the best place to look if you want more info.

You use the buttons like extra buttons on any pointing device or mouse. So whatever macro I need to use frequently.

As for the keyboard I just like small form factors. Why waste desk space with keys you don't use?

Funny enough I'm more comfortable with the MA42 than most my classmates are with a normal board. :))

It's been a while since I posted last time and I don't think I ever posted my new desk (again custom made according to my design). So here it is:
111808-0
From top:
Main speakers still Audioengine A2+, on DS1 stands negative slope (they sound better when you put them above your ears).
Also my secondary keyboard, which I rotate with my main keyboard sometimes - it's 1391401 from 1988, all original, no mods.
On the top shelf of the desk, there are 3 Eizo EV2450 screens.
Below that I try to keep my main workspace as tidy as possible and keep only the most necessary things at the time. Mostly it's just main keyboard and mouse - RF 87UB-55G and Deathadder Chroma.
Under desk there is a space for the main rig I put together a while ago but recently upgraded and tidied it up a bit. Currently it's i5 4670k, GTX 980 ti, 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD, on basic GA-Z87N-WiFi motherboard, powered by Seasonic S12G 550W PSU, all enclosed in Node 304 case with all fans replaced with Noctuas so the whole setup is almost inaudible (hard to believe but it's quieter than my retina MBP 15").
Here are pics if you're interested:
111810-1
111812-2
111814-3
And in a cabinet integrated under the desk I keep the router, NAS, UPS and some spare parts and tools.

That's a fantastic looking rig. Do you like the 304? I'm thinking of downsizing to an 804 for my next build, purely for storage, although I might get a NAS like you and just get a 304 if you can fit a Titan in it
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

You can easily fit any ITX motherboard so up to X99 platform and Titan, just beware size of the PSU. Forget modular and try to get something around 140mm in length, otherwise it collides with the graphics card.
Cooling is awesome - you have simple front to back airflow for the main chamber (with space for any CPU tower or 140mm rad in a back), PSU has it's own cutouts for cooling, same for the graphics card which intakes air from the filtered cutout on a side and blows out to the back. You can fit up to 4 HDDs inside but I find it pointless. Having NAS connected with gigabit seems better. Have a look at how it performs (Synology DS214+ with two 4TB WD Reds in RAID 1) connected through Asus RT-AC87U:

It's not slower than internal drives really, and you can access all this data on all devices in house (and not only).

My current setup. Just got an ergo keyboard arm, still no custom keys yet. I plan on building something once I find a good board to run tmk.  :) The large monitor is a 4k AMH A399U "Matte" (Its not really matte, it just doesn't have a piece of terrible glass on the front like the original did  :)) ) The side monitors are LG ultrawide somethings. All running off my retina MBP. On screen is tmux and vim, home sweet home row.

Oh that middle monitor is my dream!

The Asus PG278Q ROG Swift is a really nice monitor. Colors are quite good for a TN. Playing games at 1440p 144hz looks and feels great.

wow you went from straight 0 to 9.5/10 set up :)

Holy ****. Those monitors are ace. Do you play both LoL and Dota?

How come you have a Logitech gamer board in the back?
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

What arms are you using for those side monitors? I'm looking for something much more solid for my triple 30" setup (3014s, which are relatively light panel wise).

Thanks. I did dabble in Dota a bit before, but stopped and haven't played in ages. In LoL, I own the IGN Lina Inverse so I've had her as my wallpaper on my main screen for a while. Couldn't find anything any other wallpapers that wasn't Dota related that matched Lina as well as Crystal Maiden and Windrunner so I went with them.

I have a Logitech G19S plugged in for the LCD screen and media keys. I use the USB ports on it occasionally too.

Edit: Took a picture with much better lighting today. Way better than my previous pic. Lina turned out so much better <3
