Holy crap! I completely missed that it was a screen of my favorite F1 race on the calendar (other than Circuit of the Americas of course). I just got my USGP tickets in the mail by the way; really cannot wait!

I would love so much to attend the Monaco race some day...

If I ever upgrade my 720p projector to 1080p, I may try something similar to get some additional display space on occasion. And 4K would be just amazing for this.

Monaco even without F1 seems pretty fantastic. I agree that it's one of the best tracks on the calendar.
Post a picture from CotA in the F1 2015 thread after the race :)

When sitting close I really notice the low pixel density, so a 4k display would definitely fix that. I have too much natural light for a projector, but what's your setup like?

The picture was taken at eye-level from my couch. Listening to music or watching video is blissful.

No, actually. The one on the left can be, but it's not currently. I think it's just a trick of the panorama shot

Sure! I got some great shots from last year if you are interested; I have some great up close shots of Alonso and Kimi at a Ferarri/Shell event - an incredible stroke of luck which I'm sure I'll never see again. I also attended the pit walk last year which was a great experience.

Off topic I know, but great fun. :)

Hi there!

Updated a tad bit my desk, as it now features my new Gaming rig, as well as two 24" screens for my laptop.

I can't get a bigger desk, as my room is too little, but I'll sure do next year. As you can see there isn't much space left with all those screens, and whenever I need to work on paper, I feel a bit cramped!

Hey guys! This is my station as of yesterday  ;D

I love this keyboard, I'm thinking about trading for a tenkeyless again soon though, I miss the function row and I miss having a keyboard where keycaps fit easily. Sold my toxic set because they wouldnt fit on this board (I traded my Majestouch 2 for this while waiting for the set). I sold the numberpad today because it felt too squishy for me. Regretting not having it now for coding :/

Some stuff that I like and from my travels through Europe.

Games, my magic stuff, Zelda figures (favorite series, have a crest of Hyrule tattoo)

My monitors, the left one is a VS239H-P (IPS for photo editing) and the right one is a VN247H-P for gaming

i5 4430, 16gb RAM, Corsair h100i for cooling, 256GB Crucial SSD and a 1TB WD blue, and my GTX770 died for some reason so I'm using this 570 since my hours got cut at work ):

Although we've had a couple of days of 30+ degree temperatures already!

Going to be a long hot summer :(

Most electronic devices are rated from 5 to 35 degrees, I wonder what temperatures Rowdy is rates to operate in ...

That's a TekMat.  It's intended to be a nice mat to lay out your firearm while cleaning, but they make great mousepads too.  :)

Thanks for the wallpapers you lovely Geekhackers!

What's that mousepad called?

That's a TekMat.  It's intended to be a nice mat to lay out your firearm while cleaning, but they make great mousepads too.  :)

Thank you!

That looks like a Dell KB522 - it's better than 90% of the mechanicals out there.

It's not a desk, but it's a set up

I have actually been poking around at better audio set-ups lately but I can't afford much at the moment.  Any recommendations of brands or places to look?

The O2+ODAC is a relatively affordable DAC and amp combo. It'll be almost 300 though. No idea what your budget is.
