Pokemon Cards
(1/1)
Minisofu:
I just wanted to ask if anyone wanted to talk about pokemon cards.
I just got into the card collecting hobby about a month ago as a broke college student and im suffering everything right now from all the new releases and announcements. I have built 2 decks to battle with friends already but the itch to open a pack is so strong :-X Im also curious about peoples thought about the newest set that is about to release (or just released?) called Surging Sparks because i swear i dont have enough for 2 expensive hobbies in my life right now...
Im also very excited about the new trainer's pokemon set next year like its killing me how pokemon decide to bring it back as soon as i get into it T-T AND ITS N OF ALL PEOPLE IM LOSING IT!!

With TCGs I fall in and out of love with Magic every 5-6 years or so, been playing and collecting since the '90s.
With Pokemon I played a little when the TCG was new, and up to the Neo block in the early '00s, with Team Rocket probably being my favorite set.
I very briefly collected them again with Sword and Shield mostly because I was working at a Gamestop and got caught up in the hype during the pandemic.
