Anyone waiting for one of those new Super models?
I'm considering smallish upgrade form my 3070 to 4070 Super, as long as price will be as close as possible to current 4070.

3070 not enough? lol if you want more vram then i get it cuz i definitely do but i dont feel like buying another gpu, even though i got my 3070 in a bundle of other parts for $600

Unfortunately no - it was fine for 3 years now, but Cyberpunk and latest Dead Space showed me that in 4K it goes too low, like below 25fps.
4070s should push to 40fps minimum (if speculations to be more or less equal to 4070Ti is correct), which would be enough or me without spending loads of money.

I wanted a big screen and they come with 4k res only, so I'm forced to have better gpu for it :)

4K is the domain of 4090. It makes all other GPUs cry.

I play on a 3080 and find myself in between a 3440x1440 widescreen and a 4k tv. I don't notice any sluggishness or frame dips (outside of intense loading like in RDR2 in a major city).

Yeah, 3080 hold pretty well against new series. It will be a bit below 4070s.

I don't see myself updating my PC anytime soon (several years) because the 3080 still slaps most titles and as hardware gets more and more expensive games that are more accessible are coming out and are often better values and more fun than new AAA title. I am more excited to finish RDR2 to play Dave the Diver than any other game right now.
