Been out of the hobby for a bit

(1/1)

AlexG:
Hello everyone! I've been out of the hobby for a few years. Was involved in two bad GB's back to back and it kind of killed it for me. Recently, one of the GB's was rectified and I got a refund. I highly doubt I'll ever see the RAMA board but who knows. Being that I've been out of the loop for so long. Hoping I could maybe get an update. I still have and use my LZ CLS h daily. I would love to get a new and more innovative board but I'm 100% stuck on HHKB layout for life. Are there any boards that have come out in the last year or so that fit that description? Anything upcoming? Thanks for any reply!

i wouldn't know anything about HHKB's but every so often i stumble over the 'blueridge' in the IC thread here on geekhack

The Tybe-B comes to mind. It has a true HHKB layout, an integrated USB pass through hub like the HHKB pro 2 and a classic kustom-like design with a fairly unique mounting style. There are extras available on Cannonkeys, and Sandkeys will have some soon. If you're looking for something more exciting in terms of aesthetics, the Lily by Gok is currently in production and might have extras available. Also, the international sale of the Neo60 Cu is coming, the lower part of which is entirely made of brass, yet it will be the cheapest of the three. The Neo series has amazing value for money.
