Categories are black and white for scientific reasons, it was only 1mph short of being a cat 3 when people started saying it was downgraded

Categories are also based only on wind, not storm surge, which is what usually kills.
It's like them talking about all the tornadoes... Those tiny tornadoes were slower that the storm just a couple hours behind.

Had a few minor power hits so far but this storm didn't strike central Florida directly like Francis did. Stay safe folks.

well, the storm did jack **** to me. power was off for around 4 hours then it came back. no damage anywhere.
