I'm waiting for @WarCommand's PFU red/blue mod set for the HHKB. I'm yearning for these since they're going to be my first keycap swaps ever. :'(

Can anyone recommend me a cheap keycap puller? Thought about buying this one: https://www.amazon.de/Stahldraht-Mechanisches-Stahldraht-mechanisches-Abziehwerkzeug-Computerschl%C3%BCsselersatz/dp/B07QX6DT18/ref=sr_1_4?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&keywords=keycap+puller&qid=1581438995&sr=8-4

Best cap puller all time

I'll bite. What sets this one apart from others? The size of the grip/handle thing, for better purchase?

It just looks dope tbh haha

Almost everyone either recycles their stuff, or puts it on Ebay. :)

Aren't those two the exact same thing?

However, I've accidentally started a race. Two contestants are currently boxed and riding in different trucks on their way into my grubby hands.
Number one is an IBM Model M, supposedly a late nineties one I bought used. It was listed for a long time in the wrong category and with a terrible choice of words - basically the only chance to find it was to search for 'IBM PS/2' - So I was able to haggle the seller to a more than reasonable price.

Number two is a Wooting Two which had a 2 days head start, but comes from abroad and has made a terrible choice of carrier, so the tracking is unreliable and there are often delays.  This one is brand spanking new and shipped from Wooting directly.
Tomorrow is the first day I might expect one of them on my doorstep.
Exciting!

Bought an artisan spacebar from Etsy, because the spacebar that came with my kbdfans set was warped to an unusable degree, and trying the hot water bowl method didn't seem to fix it. I scraped the inside of the spacebar to try to make it work, so I'm not going to try to have them replace it  :-[

Anybody else buy good stuff from Etsy? There seems to be a decent variety of stuff there. I regret missing out on Dwarf Factory's stuff, I've been out of the scene for years...

Getting a spacebar in this colorway, from "CustomResinGifts";

After the saddest year for delays, as I'm certain everyone is aware of, I'm patiently waiting for my first premium board.

I honestly began to think the Kara (ordered in November) would ship first. But alas, an M60 is on its way.

I have a box of Halo clear switches in the mail.

Although given that they have spent the best part of a month in Germany for some reason (shipped from US to Australia), my hopes of receiving them are dwindling.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Waiting for one of these to come in. End of Life, so not eye-wateringly expensive for a mere 12 port switch.

Waiting on really thick 2.5mm orings. I want to experiment with significantly shorter travel distance.

Except this has gone to Germany too.  At least the switches turned up eventually.

PS. What does tracking status "Let's go" mean?
