I messed up a few things in the build but I'm happy it's done. I stayed up far too late doing this. I'll trouble shoot it later this week.

It's a KMAC LE, Titanium and WinKey obviously. Pink LEDs on the function row, White LEDs on the WASD/Caps/Left Control. Caps are Olivetti replica, CMYK/Purple Mods, and an F2 Blue clack. And an acrylic GH badge from JDcarpe.

Thank you moose, alaric, the Dong Squad, Power Chat, tadbitnerdy, tjcaustin and Missalaire for helping me make this board. If I missed anyone (demik), I'm sorry :P

You copy cat  ;)  Looks good, just needs a P1 Purple CC.

And are those LEDs pink or UV?  They seem to have a more purplish hue.

Edit: why won't winky work?   ;)  ;)

The LEDs are Pink, not UV. The lighting in my apartment for pictures is less than ideal at like 1 am.

Had my camera for years and never tried using those options like shutter speed, aperture, focal length and such. So I messed around with those.
I think this is the most accurate color representation of the purple LEDs. :D

That's a beautiful photo!!!  White balance setting is also a big one.  You can correct it afterwards with software, but it's good to start out with a more accurate one.  But I assume your camera shoots in RAW?  I'm stuck with JPEGs :(

Honestly I don't remember. I was just taking pictures with different settings until I got that. Btw, I'm just using a Fujifilm F200EXR digi camera.

Those LEDs look familiar :p.

I swear those were pink when I had it, but putting purple caps on it, makes it look more purple. This is a very nice shot for a compact camera.

This has to be one of the most perfect-sounding keyboards I have ever heard. And beautiful too. Man, that thing is a looker. I'm not so much into the red plates, but I wouldn't kick this one out of bed for eating crackers. LOL. What an amazing keyboard. Please leave this video up forever!! That is exactly what a keyboard should sound like!

I thought this would be an appropriate thread to ask in, since many of the Korean customs have various LED backlighting, and people combine it with nice keycaps:

Which keycaps that you've found so far don't allow LED light to bleed through?  I'm aware of the following ones that are opaque enough for that purpose:

* DSA Retro
* Dolch Doubleshots
* Dark gray IMSTO thick PBT
* Dark / Black ABS doubleshots

Anything else worth mentioning?

Nearly every cap allows slight to shine through, except cherry DS I think. Even the thick IMSTO PBT caps allows light through. It really depends on intensities of LEDs though.

Yeah, I figured that's the case, but some are significantly more opaque.  For example, the Dolch DS set seems very resistant to LED bleed-through.  Those GMK purple modifiers as well.  So thick doubleshots.  Thick dark gray PBT is also opaque for LEDs--confirmed by owners, but light thick PBT lets a lot of light through very easily.  I own 2 colors and can see it well, even at the lowest brightness.  DSA Retro is dark and thick enough (doubleshots).  Just trying to figure out what my options are for opaque caps.

Vintage MX Blues from a Dolch PAC with 62g springs lubed with victorinox. Sparkly stickers, and the actuator is lubed with Krytox GPL-103

Future:
Solder on resistors and Cyan colored LEDs
Acquire blue keys (CC, Brobot, Olivetti)
I like that with the Raindrop set. Wondering how that would be with the royal blue.

Dat photography.

I wonder if there ever was a purple on white Cherry legend set?  That would complement this perfectly!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Dat photography.

I wonder if there ever was a purple on white Cherry legend set?  That would complement this perfectly!
Zenuty has a purple on white imsto dyesub that looks fabulous with it.  I switch back and forth between my CMYK and Purple mods on this bad boy.  Once my GH60's arrive it will be wearing a WYSE set.
