Green QF TK!
« on: Sat, 18 July 2015, 16:28:50 »
Just hand painted my QF TK using green acrylic paint. I'm actually intentionally going for a bit of a hand-painted look, but I still plan to go back and clean up some of the sloppier sections as well as a couple of spots where it chipped right after drying. Shown here with first run Tai Hao ABS doubleshots and the stock spacebar (**** 6.5u am I right?).

demik will never leave.

Unless he gets banned.

Im liking like the green and blue but you're right about the space bar, it's dullness somehow steals my attention.  Why did they chose 6.5u

I'm planning on buying one from SP. Hoping for a white, as there's no chance of matching the blue color.

Not bad :)

And yes, a shame about the space bar.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Nice! Really like the color of the green. Would go great with the GeekKeys green and black set  :thumb:
