I like how cc is updating everyone this time around so those of you who don’t sleep due to pop-up sales and contests can actually rest. In the past, he’d often just ghost.

sleeping is for losers

No sleep 2019. This is how it has been for me, too.
My wife I a also push her button . But now she have her button push by a different men. So I buy a keyboard a mechanicale, she a reliable like a Fiat.

This hobby is 99.996% waiting, so I have become acclimated to minor delays.  Take all the time you need CC, we’ll be glad to see you back when circumstances allow.

Are there other keycap makers right now whose products retain value similar to clack keys?  I recently bought another keyboard and am interested in adding to my collection.  Just wondering if clack is still the only active(ish) maker that retains/appreciates in value.

if you're getting into artisans for """"value"""" you might be better off just getting into crypto or something

Thanks hayt for the non-sarcastic (i think) reply.  I think it's kind of pretentious to judge someone's reason to want to try and collect something.  Personally, I love custom keycaps, but I don't have a lot of time/money to spend looking around and buying a bunch of keycaps from various vendors.  I figure the keycaps  that retain their value are the ones with the best quality/craftsmanship, and it would make sense to try and get those!  Although in hindsight I guess I shouldn't have posted my question in the Clack Therapy thread...

At the same time it is not really pretentious to assume so, in a perfect scenario one would collect what they find aesthetically pleasing without worrying about maintaining monetary value. If you factor in monetary value it isn't truly seeing "art" for what it is, but an investment. But in reality most people will always care about rarity and value, just clarifying why people might see your question as such.

I hope so as well.  His awesome work aside, he's a real character that keeps us guessing and invigorated.  He's also a real nice guy from my personal experience :)

I heard he's being treated for a prolapsed anus and a strained wrist from working too hard under the Queensborough Bridge. Jerking off punks for $5 a man. They call him The Pink Sock down there, he's legendary on the streets.
