Can I get a diameter measurement on the two circles (earth/moon) on the weight insert? I'm working on a little sm'tin-somethin.

The circles gradually evolved to the larger being an"O" the size of the MIRA and the smaller "o" looking more like an apostrophe. The larger one is shrinking slightly, the smaller one is increasing somewhat to be more like binary suns instead of "O'MIRA". Thus I can't give you an exact measurement yet.

You're talking about the engraving on the top of the board above the arrow keys? I'm looking to do something special with the brass weight insert but I need to make sure the tooling will work for the diameter of the circles.

No worries :) also, if we want to declare it as a certain amount do we PM someone?

PM ninjadoc.  Have a look at the prototype brass weight on the photo album I linked above.

Assuming that you don't want LED's on anything other than the bottom, is this board just simply soldering the switches and programming the board?  How customizable is the programming?  Can you program for Volume +/-, etc?

Thank you!

Switches, stabilizers.  It will work without programming, but if you want to change the keymap, this is how you can do it:

Yeah I'll post some pie charts tomorrow once orders close ;)  Winkey and Winkeyless are approximately an even split so far.

Very customizable. This PCB will be using the  TX87, Leeku's GUI has great customization options regarding the pcb/rgb lights.

I would also like to confirm: for some reason, my Google form link to return for edits is not working and redirects me to the original form. If this editable link could be provided, please PM me~

EDIT: If there is anybody with a numbered/"first 57" MIRA who would like to sell/give their spot, let me know.

You probably saved the link to the original form, not to link you get at the end to edit (you need to click on the edit button you see after submitting the form, then save THAT address).  We cannot send you a link for editing, but if there's something you'd like changed, let me know.  You can check your order along with others on a spreadsheet tomorrow.

Thanks a lot - by any chance, are there English instructions?  Or is it just simply downloading that app and following it through?  I have no idea what any of that means, haha.

If you use Google Chrome to view the page, you can have it auto-translated.

Thank you very, very much.  I apologize for all the questions, but last one.  Do you have a picture of the exact lunar grey one?  I can't seem to spot the lunar grey.  Looking to buy it to match GMK hydro, and believe that the grey would match better, but I just love how the blue looks.

Really, really appreciate the help!

I'm afraid there's no good quality (very color-accurate) photo available for lunar gray :(  If I could get my hands on a sample...   The photos linked in the OP should give you *some* idea, but I can't confirm whether that's exactly what it will look like in person:  http://imgur.com/a/M1NLm

I think the Blue will be a better match to Hydro, especially because the Hydro blue is also on the cool side from the photos I've seen.  The Gray is supposed to have some military green to it.

No worries, thank you for the help!  Ordering right now and I thought I was done with the questions, but I'm sadly not.  Is the "extra PCB" so that you can GET a PCB, or is it literally extra (meaning you get two).  I want to order the entire kit.

Thanks again!

You get an extra PCB if you order extra PCB. The kit already comes with one

You guys, I've been sitting on the fence for like 2 weeks. Despite severe, everlasting FOMO, I haven't come up with spare funds for the Mira, so I have sit this one out. I'm so bummed! This board is awesome. I'll enjoy from afar when you post pics...if I can see them through my tears.

Would have been awesome if the weight had some sort of engraving, like the mira logo. If anyone is having this done to their weight please let me know.

I know but I wish "Mira" could have been engraved on the larger circle in the same font used on the front cover.

Here is the link to check your MIRA order as submitted!  Please PM me if anything looks wrong.  The list is sorted alphabetically by username.  Shipping cost is NOT INCLUDED!

>>> CLICK HERE FOR ORDER CHECK LINK <<<

A reminder to everyone: 1 PCB is INCLUDED in your kit.  "Extra" PCB means you get MORE THAN ONE.

Those who have submitted an order for more than one MIRA kit should get a combined PayPal invoice.

This information will be added to the OP.

Pro Tip: Get an extra plate.
1. They are super cheap in this GB (Could easily be double in other GBs)
2. Uses a standard PCB that can be bought later if needed, so you do not need to get it right now, but the plate is unique

Why?
1. If you ever want to resell the board later you can sell it as unbuilt
2. If you ever want to change the layout, or try other switches you can do that without desoldering the old PCB/Plate and just get a PCB and new switches. Two keyboards in one!

This may be good advice, but what I wonder is how common is the PCB and where exactly would I get extra Leeku PCBs (elsewhere)?

You can message Leeku directly on these forums to get one directly from him. Very easy process.

That said, the Mira is A87 compatible, so GON pcbs as well as WKL (not 100% son this one) are compatible as well.

The recent LZ-CLS and Mech27-TKL boards use that PCB as well as the TX-84/87 from kin25, for instance. I don't know about older ones (probably more LZ keyboards too).

Due to the customs fee on shipping the PCB's from Korea to China I have to add $2 per PCB. See the update in the OP.

In the west (Outside of Korea), ie in r/mechmarket especially, kit prices don't differ much from assembled prices and I typically see assembled boards go for much more. My Octagon v1 unbuilt kit sold for less than my assembled kit, for instance.

But yeah, having two plates/PCBs is pretty nifty if you want to have two different setups for the same board, though honestly... You're most likely going to end up favoring one over another and so you'll likely see the other one not be used much at that point.

You can always sell it though.

I plan on using this till the end of time, most likely, so I think you have a stronger point. I will probably just favor one type of switch and go with that (thinking 65 or 67g Zealios). I'm sticking to a full kit (no extras).

And in OTHER NEWS, we have 10 numbered slots that have not been claimed for whatever reason by people who have paid a deposit during the IC phase.

They will be distributed among those who have joined the Group Buy and do not yet have a number assigned to them.  I am using Random.org with all the un-numbered usernames pasted in a column to do this assignment.

All of the assigned numbers from 1 to 57 will be added to the order verification spreadsheet soon.

All of the assigned numbers from 1 to 57 will be added to the order verification spreadsheet soon.

Oh, this is interesting.  I was wondering, for those already with a numbered slot, can we swap to another opened number prior to the distribution?  Just a thought.

Once invoices goes out, there will be no number changing.  It's a complex GB as it is, and the weights will be coming along with the kits from the factory.  We have orders from many different countries here.  So as to not mess anything up as much as possible, there should be no number swapping until stuff gets delivered.

By the way, during the IC, people did try to get specific numbers, so I don't think many will want to trade anyway.

Is there an updated list of who has what limited spot?

Also after looking at the price changes in the PCB could ninja reach out if prices do indeed change. I don't think I'd be the only one who'd be willing to help with extra costs if it's necessary.

This makes sense.  I wasn't going to make it more complicated than it already is.  I appreciate the work that went into organizing this GB.  I was just asking for those 10 spots that have not been claimed to be open to be swapped.

That is all.  Good luck to those who's going to get a numbered spot.   ;)

This information will be added to the OP.

i notice this form is not tracking numbers for the first 57...

Grey got quite a bit of love, thats good its a really nice color.
Pink not so much, grabbed a pink plate out of curiosity of how it would look on my build but not majorly fond of it. woulda loved a Purple or red over it though
