Yes— I've written up a Quality Disclosure as well so that people can know exactly what to expect. (tl;dr If you buy a regular kit from the sale, there should be no exterior defects and some interior defects.) There will additionally be some b-stock kits later this month, and I'll post pictures of the particular defect that makes it b-stock for each kit.

Awesome. Really makes me want to jump on the bandwagon.

Can you give insights on what kind of defect and discount one should expect for those B-stock cases?

Will we have more information as the sale approaches, such as maybe more pictures ?
Also, I'm assuming these are in-stock and will be shipped out within a week ?

Yes to both questions. (I hope to have boards shipped the day after they're sold.)

Awesome. Really makes me want to jump on the bandwagon.

The b-stock defects are primarily minor external issues, usually just one on the case, like a minor ano spot that's only visible in certain light. It's the kind of thing that I wouldn't want to pass as a-stock, but that I think someone could definitely still be very happy with if they knew what they were getting. No word on the discount just yet however, it may vary depending on the particular issue.

Hi sent!

And, as an aside for anyone on the fence about joining in (even if it hurts my chances), riot's stuff is top notch.  Love my No. 1 and it's one of the two boards I ended up keeping.  So damn comfy to type on and solid as all hell.

Guessing this is the same angle as the TKL?

Yes, I'll get some explanatory diagrams up before the actual sale (likely later today or tomorrow).

9° (same for the 60%)

TKL was 9.5°, so this is a bit shallower.

So looking forward to this. I'm not too familiar with daughterboards, what's the reason or benefit to having one? Thanks.

You primarily get more flexibility in placement. More pictures soon, but the daughterboard is actually placed in the case bottom and the cable routed up through a hole in the mid part to connect to the PCB. This lets me place the USB cable in a less obtrusive spot than near the top of the keyboard at the plane of the PCB, as well as rotating the daughterboard 9° so that the USB cable extends parallel to the desk instead of parallel to the PCB.

Yeah, I know.  Just wondering if I should try to get in for the 60 when I really only want the 65.  FCFS has not worked out well for me historically, lol.

Darknight was right, this is just my personal preference. Additionally, as you lower the angle, the more of the bottom profile & curve you lose.

Is there somewhere you can see more than the 1 photo of each board?

More photos of the No. 1/60 will go up tonight and more pictures of the No. 1/65 will follow tomorrow.

Will there be a WKL top option for the 60% boards?

Not for this run, but I'll consider a WKL & HHKB option in future 60% boards.
