What a great site! I've been using a full-size Enermax Aurora "scissor key" keyboard with my gaming PC for nearly ten years now. I also have a couple of IBM M boards, one of which is the full-size board that came with my IBM Model 60 and the other is the space saver version that I bought later. I also bought a cheap, clicky RedDragon "gaming" keyboard last year to try a modern USB clicky mech, but it had some keys fail pretty quickly (I'm waiting on a warranty replacement now). As it turns out, I don't seem to be a fan of clickety-clack boards.
Based on my research here, I recently bought a Leopold FC750R w/ the Cherry MX Pink switches. The feel and build quality just blew me away.
I expect that my next mechanical keyboard purchase will be something to use for work with my Mac... maybe with Topre switches if I can get over the price
