Keyboard from the movie 'Eraser'?
« on: Sun, 10 August 2014, 20:19:54 »
The scene where the female lead is in the corporate vault making the pair of 3.5" re-writeable CDs of the data the FBI wanted - she is typing on a TKL board with a full length F row.  Looks a little like a SIIG Minitouch - but in an ANSI layout.

Haven't seen this movie in years - happens to be on today, and this is the first time I have noticed this board.

Yep. Found it on Youtube. After a bit of searching, I see that it could very well be the BTC-5100C which is a rubber-dome keyboard, which was once branded as the SIIG MiniTouch Plus.
It appears that a larger box has been built around it's case in the movie.

Even though it's domes, the oldest revision of the BTC 5100 is quite nice with real pcb and individual domes. It feels very much like Topre, though more linear. Those with an AT plug have the highest chance of having the original design. That was my favorite keyboard for years before I discovered MX.
