Top of the spring case is tight.
It is not easy to open.
You need to cut the top with knife like these pictures.

They come precut, but some of the inner inserts are removable.

Placed an order. Not sure about the different sizing of foam that is standard, but i wrote in the comment for each bag size what kind of size of foam id prefer (ie. Txcp vs 1800, TKL vs 75%, 60 vs 65%)

You can pick them up and insert keyboard.
Ex) M size bag, basically you can use 75%. After picking up pieces of form, you can use 87%.

Please note that I will only be invoicing the items ordered.
The import taxes are a little inpredictable for me since this is way outside any "personal demand" I can't estimate how much fees, customs and taxes there will be. I will be distributing all these costs, add them to your ACTUAL shipping costs and invoice those before shipping.

Please check here. Most orders will be in the 5kg parcel class, large orders might make it into the 10kg parcel class.
I do _NOT_ use the 2kg parcel class. It has size restrictions that are a pain to meet with keyboard sized objects.

4/ $3 is added on each order (not per product) for boxes + handling fee. Honestly, boxes cost like $1.50+ each so $1.50- is my gas/time money.
5/ If you want to pick up, please shoot me a PM. At least 2 orders are close enough that I put a note to arrange a pickup.
6/ Invoices are going out pretty slowly because I got sick and have to catch up with the work at my day job. There should be 15-20 invoices going out everyday by order receipt date. Thus, if you have not received your invoice, please stay put. Kin will post it here when invoicing is complete.

Popkorn62 is who I PM’d and who Kin told me to PM. Kin told me about 1.5-2 weeks ago that the shipment was still crossing the ocean. I reached out to popkorn62 today and he replied back in about an hour saying that he hadn’t received the 25 items/individual purchases in the mass shipment.

True, but in their defense, there isn't much to update that hasn't already been said in the thread. Items have shipped, and they haven't been received by Popkorn yet. But I get the frustration. I'm waiting for quite a bit of stuff myself.

I didn’t notice this thread so I’m glad someone quoted me. As of this point, I know they have passed US custom. Shipping company will hand these to UPS and they will deliver to me. They expect those to be delivered in a week. I will then sort and ship them out hopefully also in a week or less.

There was a status update given, no need for he said/she said...There's multiple TX threads and they don't always get updated at the same time. Between Kin and Pokorn, they're pretty good about giving updates, sometimes you just have to check a couple places.

LOL UPS cracks me up. So later the day yesterday the UPS tracking updated to "Delivery on 27th of February" and another little while later I received a call from an UPS guy asking if I am home and 5min later they dropped the whole shipment at my doorstep!Nice, great news!! :) Hope customs is not as slow as the chu chu train :confused:

are you going to restock bags and spring kits on your site anytime soon? I have a BOK-CP that needs some loving.
He only sent me the exact number of bags to fulfill orders this time. I am not sure if I will restock bags anytime soon. Each box only fits 12-14 bags. It doesn’t make sense to send only a few boxes but then receiving so many at the same time takes up so much space (ea box is 30x28x18).
P/S: apologies to anyone who I sent out tracking last night. The rain was so heavy I couldn’t get them to USPS and FedEx...will definitely get those and a few more orders out tomorrow.

UPS attempted 2 deliveries and failed. Today, CAN proxy tried to pick them up but UPS did not keep the shipment in their warehouse. Instead, UPS gave her another address to go to.
Edit: Canadian proxy has received all the boxes!

And after talking to Kin, it seems there is the possibility that he already paid for customs when he shipped this stuff to Germany so this is another possibility.
I decided to no longer delay the distribution of this stuff and simply incoice shipping only to the participants. Tonight I will prepare the shipping cost update and send out an email to all participants.
In previous shipments I have gotten customs invoices aftert 4-6 weeks too so I hope you all understand I am taking a big risk here and should I receive such an invoice later, I am counting on all participants to pay their customs share even after receiving their shipments. Let's see how that goes :))

Great news and thank you for having faith in us! For the antique orders we all paid 100USD per board, did Kin hand that money to you? We are supposed to get the difference refunded. If you want, keep my money for a few weeks as insurance for customs.

Good news! Btw, did all the phone numbers get mangled in the mails you sent out? That could be an issue in case you ship via DHL Express.

I believe international just means shipped from Korea, so you will wait longer. The US/Canada option is for people to pay a bit extra for less lead times.

Extras will be on sale 3 weeks after the fulfillment of the preorders. Yes, I would say we are on track for early December or mid Dec the latest. Deskmats will also go on sale at the same time :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I will also create a geekhack thread before the date I put them on sale and a reddit post (but usually it's almost sold out when it got to reddit lbr).
