Title: Exactly "which" Windows mouse pointer slider is supposed to be on "5" for 0 acce

The one in the "classic" control panel, or the one in the "new" applications panel"? they conflict with each other and change each others settings. I am guessing it is the classic one. Since this trick has been around since Windows 7? Anyhow I really need to slow down my track ball. Using a track/Thumb ball and not gaming but still wanting good precision I gather this setting does not even much apply to me? Thank you
