yes, it is weak.  they did a keyboard "story" a few days ago that was equally crappy.  

they should really call these things "the best mice/keyboards that our local office depot had in stock when we decided to generate web traffic by making some lame articles and posting them to slashdot". whatever.

i was happy to see several people in the comments of their keyboard article mentioned geekhack.org and some of the great keyboards discussed here.

i think "the best" mice/trackballs are even more a matter of personal taste than keyboards.

The 3M stick thing has been around forever, that's for sure; design hasn't changed at all either.
