You'll find they list all their stuff on ebay as well (link). Their prices are usually on the mid/high end and shipping is always higher than usual.

um, no offence intended and not meaning to crap on your thread, but I think we don't need to read a list of what anyone can find himself at recycledgoods' website.

especially because none of these are good deals to begin with.

eg Honeywell going for $89, missing key, no cable, untested (aka, in seller's parlance, doa except seller doesn't want to say it outright). DUH, how are we supposed to make that work? I suppose somebody already has another honeywell with the spare parts? and don't tell me that somebody paid $800 for his honeywell, so $89 is a good deal to him to buy another honeywell for spare parts?

This is clearly labelled a model C1 keyboard (keyboard for a C1). I was interested in it for a while, because data entry keycaps are less common, and I sort-of wanted some for my buckling spring keyboards.

The "unsaver" is our colloquial name for a 104 key keyboard that has all 34 function keys but no tenkey. It's smaller than a "normal-sized" 122-key keyboard, but doesn't actually save space hence the name.

This (and all the model Cs) actually take up MORE space than their closest relative (the IBM PC/XT keyboard) and don't really fit the term.

Anyway, you got my hopes up with all the honeywell/microswitch talk, but sadly none are hall effect. I browse through recycledgoods a bit looking for them every once-in-a-bit, but they do not appear (at a price I would pay)

Nobody reads the 'great finds' expecting to buy all of the keyboards that come up.  It's interesting just to see what is out there.  And since prices are subjective, who can say whether the bizarre industrial trackball keyboard is a good deal or not?  So although in principle anyone could see things for themselves on the recycledgoods website - or any website - it's great to post them here.

Out of interest do the IBM terminal boards work with Soarer's converter?

dorkvader, I have a spare set of Data Entry layout key caps from an F122 if you're interested.  I am willing to swap them for a single F122 spacebar.

From my recollection, it was an IRC discussion prompted by me that "invented" the "unsaver" term...this was back in 2010 when I was pursuing suppliers of the things.

The term was intended, yes, for the 104-key buckling spring keyboards that are laid out like a tenkeyless 122. There are also Honeywell-manufactured rubber dome keyboards of the same physical layout. The key thing to note is that when this term was originally coined, it was believed that all keyboards described by this term shared the same AT-like protocol of the 122s, but eventually an older version (identical except for controller) was found that currently is considered unusable. That one has D-subs rather than the DIN connector.

The model ms are a good deal at around 30 dollars a pop. I also reckon if you bought say the honeywells in bulk they might offer a large discount.

Phone number seems to waver between a tire shop and this site, as does the Address, except it wavers between this site and a couple of wood shops. Considering the number of hits I got for this website on both the Phone Number and the address, it seems pretty legit, but I'd like to see someone order from them to check.
