PBT Nordic &
« on: Sat, 12 January 2013, 06:52:09 »
Hey. Right know i'm using CM storm Quick Fire Rapid Red.
I like it a lot and this is my first mechanical keyboard.
I got the Nordic one (Denmark).

I have 2 questions!

1: I want full PBT keycaps for it, where?

2:  What I have noticed with this keyboard is, If I push very slow and soft on one of the keycaps it's
feel's like it scratch or hitting something. It only happen when I push from the corner/side's of the cap's. Is it
something that is normal with mechanical keyboard/red switches? It annoys me a lot. It also happens when I play.
But not all the buttons do. Don't get me wrong I really like this keyboard.

Best Regards.

That noise is fairly common with reds due to the type of switch
I use blues as I like them much more (Quickfire TK) with a mess load of custom keycaps :P
but you will either get used to it or get a different switched board

Idk about where to get PBT type caps but I usually just get whatever is colorful xD Unless they are TOO plastic and cheap feeling I am solid
Linear gang needs to rise up against the tactile hipsters.

But I don't think for only TKL board's! You have to buy for the full version board!
Maybe i'm wrong?

if it helps, i'd just like to add that having PBT for the primary 34 letters/punctuation is the most important, after having used some cherry PBT on those keys for a while

you don't really use the other keys anywhere near as much, or at least the texture isn't nearly as important on those
