Is there a tutorial anywhere on doing the xwhatsit conversion on an F/AT capsense board? I expected there to be at least one, but my search-fu is apparently weak.
If not, does anyone have any tips on desoldering the ribbon cable from the original IBM controller board? I'd like to save the board if I can. It looks like it would be easy to desolder with one of those little butane torches, but the board might not survive.
As you might guess, I'm a newbie at this 'soldering' thing.
