What's the shipping for two to a USA address?

For me it went up to ~$24 for 2 bags

Hmmm so tempting. I have plans for my previous bags and could use more. Then again, Canadian dollar is garbage.

Priority? It's $33.05 to France at First-Class.

Most people won't ship international using First Class. I won't. Things just get lost or damaged too often.

Well USA>France always worked out fine for me with USPS first-class, in fact it has been the only reliable service through the years (first shipment from USA something like 20 years ago), better than Fedex or UPS esoterics, the former being a little better than the second. And I like going to my post office, we have kind post officers.

They must be doing Regional Rate boxes from Washington...what they should do is Medium or Large Flat Rate boxes

Yeah I'm 99% sure they did flat rate medium boxes last year.

Yeah I'm 99% sure they did flat rate medium boxes last year.

Then maybe they are using a Regional Rate calculator instead of Flat Rate on the website?

In any event, I just put my hat in for one...so we will see what kind of bling, flak, or slag I get.

$33.05 shipping to Australia (First Class) (or $51.50 (Priority Mail)) makes it $68.05 at the cheapest.

That's US$68.05 which is AUD$87.15.

I'll pass :(

Looking at last year's invoice, it was $7.30 Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box Via U.S. Postal Service; 2.5 Lbs, for a total of $37.30 shipped.

99% of my bag was definitely crap.

I was all about this until I saw the shipping $17,.. ouch! That makes a $35 grab bag a $52 grab bag. Think I'm going to pass this time.

I bought one solely because I need a bunch of trash keys to disfigure and maim during my experiments/art.  If there are some nice ones-bonus.

But I am not at all happy with the price.  If the bag was slightly smaller and could be shipped ground instead of priority, it might be a more acceptable wallet hit.  As it stands, it seems that it was planned as a bulkier way to recoup lost product with little regard for the end user.

Their site sucks less now though, so I guess you could say they have that going for them.

I am interested since there have been a lot of really cool GB's lately that feature both DSA and SA profiles. Plus, certain retailer's have mess ups and leftovers from their batches that end up in the mix. Add to that the possibility of Matrix bunnies, pills, and EMP keycaps, and you got yourself a winner.

That's true!

But for the chance of one or two mmmmmmmmmaybe keycaps, I'll still skip it.

Or a few random keycaps from Nuclear Data Green or one of the others?  Not really.

Thanks.  Tempting, but AUD$50 or so for maybe half a dozen keycaps (if I'm lucky) is not very good odds.

I'll just wait and see what everyone else gets.  Hopefully there are a few good ones to justify everyone's purchases.

Sadly I bought them before seeing other peoples responses.

It's still fun to sort through a bunch of random caps, see the profiles, colors etc, yes that is an expensive experience but an experience nonetheless. And you might find something you like or something unique.

Most people won't ship international using First Class. I won't. Things just get lost or damaged too often.

Ahah see, postal services are 3D printing/duplicating my grab bag! How nice is that? First Class!

Geee hope customs did not opened the bag and spread caps all over the place, then tried to repack them one by one…

Ooh a brave soul who imported a bag (or seven :)))  to Europe!  I hope customs made a right mess, swore about it, and were told off - then maybe they'll think twice before delaying your future packages...

What are you hoping to find?

Haha, well yeah!

But if for example you hate DSA I could offer to buy all your DSA caps for a set price before you even get the bag so you could recover some of the horrific shipping fees.  If you like standard layouts I could do the same for 1.25 and 1.75 mods.  If you dislike bright colours...

Yes indeed, I don't think I'm gonna keep the whole. But not sure what to keep or not before seeing the loot.
Gonna have a walk to the post office this morning. Will report (if you see any post office nuking alert on Fox News it will prolly be me).

[edit] didn't had to, being advertised as delivered yesterday on usps website, the bag was quietly waiting in the mail box. Looks promising, sorting time!

Anything good in the crap bags this year?  I skipped out because I just have way too many nonsensical keycaps already, but am still kicking myself in case I missed something awesome.

Having seen this thread get bumped I looked in your post history and saw your grab-bag layouts in the "what did you get in the mail" thread - it looks like you have lots of DSA even with a full board!  If you would like to sell some on please let me know :)

Also, you didn't happen to find a 6.25 SA spacebar in there did you?  Looks like it won't fit your board so I'd happily take that off your hands too :))

As spacebars go, I have 3 white 6.25U DSA, 1 black 6U DCS and 4 pearly white 8U SA, all I won't use.

I'm gonna post ads+pics about all these, if you want to pm me an offering in the meantime you are welcome.

I also have a decent amount of damaged/unfinished keys but with working stems, if some artisans want them to experiment, I'm giving them for free (you pay shipping).
