Just to clarify a bit more this is ment as a add-on kit and not strictly for Phantom but more for a bunch of keyboards that can use these few keys to make the set work for example, the picture itself is just to show an example of the keys and their row and not necessary that's the spot they will be going in.

Stepped caps - no need for explanation
1.5x modifer - for winkeyless keyboards
1x modifer - for winkeyless keyboards, Fn key beside the shift and also many other boards such as Choc Mini, there are 4 keys because besides the space between alt and control a lot of keyboards require more 1x keys
1800 shift - for Cherry 1800, Dox, and I believe the Phantom can incorporate this also which will allow an extra 1x key beside it, similar to HHKB/Pure

This add on kit hits A LOT of keyboards out there that have a few funky keys here and there.

While the 7bit layout is very intesnse, there are many 1.25 modifers, small enter, small backspace, tiny shift, and HUGE function row keys, there is no way to incorporate that into this multi purpose set as the 7bit add on requires far too many keys by itself.

We need the DOX guys, and Pure, Choc Mini owners to come here to order a main kit and a Phantom kit.  Maybe we need to call the Phantom kit something else to they don't think it is just for Phantom.

Thanks for the clarification. I was mislead by Rag's OP, where it just says compatible with Phantom, with no mentions with which phantom it's good for and no mentions of Dox, Pure Cherry 1800, etc.

Rag, you should really rename this kit to something like "Uber Add-on kit", anything but Phantom. It's not even compatible with most of the phantom layouts, only two of them. And also just note that by getting this kit, you're essentially paying for a lot of keys that won't be used if for instance you ONLY want the 1.5 modifiers.



With that said, I'm interested in this kit, but only want 2 of the 11 keys (the x1.75 shift and x1 diamond), so does anyone else want to split this kit with me? you get the x1.5 mods, other x1's, stepped cap, and x7 space bar.

the base kit of this group buy already works with Phantom PHANSIWIN.  If you add the Phantom kit, it works with PHANWIN as well.  If you add just ISO, it will work with PHISOWIN.  If you add both the ISO kit and Phantom kit, it will work with PHISO.

Negative it's a 1.75 shift since the row is all normal except for the shift and they cut off parts to make that extra key beside it which makes the shift a 1.75x shift and the key beside it a 1x key

You made a great choice no lie, this kit people will be wishing they bought it later on when they get a new keyboard but missing those 1-2 keys to make it work nice

Those diamond keys are 1x, worthless to you unless you own a keyboard with a single unit key between ctrl and alt

Seriously, the Windows logo will probably end up not happening simply because I thought it was and already bought keys to take their place. =\

I'd still be down for Super/Meta or whatever in place of the logo.

If you guys can come up with a legend that everyone wants instead of the Windows key, then I'm for it. Obviously it can't be trademarked or anything, but I'd just as soon have some sort of cool symbol, like a biohazard warning or something. Melissa would hate me if I gave her that SVG lol, would be so hard to get right.
