If you need to get someone else, I'm willing to get in as a replacement for one of the orders as long as its for 1 keyboard.

Thanks!

I think I just pushed it a little too far, probably why I got banned (I even got IP banned from my work PC)... it's no like I even give two ****s about Ripster's absence (it's a lot more friendly around here without him tbh) but I just don't like it when people can't defend themselves when someone is bad-mouthing them.  Which was the primary reason behind my *****ing at webwit...

AAAND I don't want to start this whole discussion over here now too... so nuff said.

SO ANYWAYS... How about them KBC Pokers?

If your not set one Pokers there are some similar boards here: http://attarian.taobao.com/?spm=2013.1.2-6823789855.1.daa96f

There are some Pokers if you search it here: http://www.taobao.com/index_global.php?spm=a230r.1.2.1.3e371b

They seem about the same price as this GB. When I can read Chinese maybe Ill buy a bunch and start a GB :)

Yes, and MechanicalKeyboards has Pures in stock in the US. That would be fine, but I don't know if the Pure has the same "arrow lock" mode as the Poker.  And the ability to move the Fn key to the left via a DIP switch.

The Pure does seem to have sorted the Esc/tilde key placement a bit better than the Poker as well.

I hadn't figured out how to search TaoBao with English.  I'll try that as well.

Thanks!

 - Ron | samwisekoi

[edit] According to Google Translate, TaoBao seems to have Pokers in my choice of "tea axis", "red axis", "black shaft", or "green axis". Interesting choices... [/edit]

P.S. In some chinese keyboard community, some of them open a wtb thread about poker. And the others always said poker is quite hard ro find right now..

轴 (axis) ~ switch
青 (green) ~ blue
红 (red) ~ red
黑 (black) ~ black
茶 (tea) ~ brown

THAT should go on a wiki somewhere!  Thank you very much.  I guessed "茶 (tea) ~ brown" and "轴 (axis) ~ switch" correctly, but I thought  "青 (green)"  actually meant Green.

However, Google (when asked) allows that it might mean "blue" or "blueness":

Quote
adjective

noun
blueness   蓝色, 蓝, 青
green grass   青
cyanogen   青

Thanks again!

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

Did tinlong get my updated info?  Since I can't complete the order through Deskthority he told me to send in my info here too... just wondering if he took care of that whole thing or not...

Sorry, but your order was past the deadline. We can keep you in consideration in case someone who placed an order for Blacks doesn't follow through?

I just PM'd tinlong to check on how things are going. One of us will keep you posted.
the boards are producing now, I'll post in the threads if there is any updates :)

Thought there were some people grouping for a second later run?  That's what my hat was in for.
