Oh we know it doesn't exist but you have to have the legend somewhere. You did it right on 2048, just have r4 with a tab. I'm OK with that if we can't finance the mold

edit:that is row1 (bottom row) or maybe even r3 if they can make it (q row) I'm not sure what profile would fit best but a 40s kit without _any_ 1.25u tab is not going to work

I really don't mind having legend accurate but row incorrect when the kit is $15. the same kit in GMK would be $40 or more. Its just a trade off one has to accept to have the price point we have. I am curious what the actual cost to fund the mold would be. I do know this is a source of consternation for a lot of would-be 40s buyers.

Yo any chance the 1.5 tab can be swapped out to a r4 1.25 tab instead for 40s kit? Rather have the proper legend then a weird kinda eh kit. Besides that I see that it's meant to be a much smaller kit so I won't ask for much more. But yeah r4 as tab is not that bad if the rest of the profiling is correct.

GMK uses Abs and ePBT normally uses PBT. 2 different manufacturers.

GMK is based in Germany and ePBT in China.

What if you kitted “2048 style” and gave the alphas there own Kit, then had a “standard mods” kit and a “Cool Kids Kit” in the same wacky alpha style.

I like the standard mod balance as is but I know people have been asking for the uniformity.

Not sure how it would play out with the numbers you are seeing but just throwing out ideas.

Honestly I thought this was a joke / a little stupid when I first saw it, but it's growing on me. I didn't have a board planned at the time that I thought it would work on, but now with Think v2.0 in IC, I'll definitely consider this to go with a polycarbonate Think v2.0 if polycarbonate ends up being a material option for that board.

I personally like that not all the legends are askew. I agree that there is a fine line between looking fun and quirky and looking sloppy. I think the normal function/modifiers/numbers help keep the set anchored and make the alphas / numpad numbers stand out more.

I would say the logo you have for the IC is pretty close to being a deskmat design right there.
Maybe throw a handful of randomly scattered letters in a smaller font onto it as well for a background effect and then call it a day.
