Superhero keycaps
« on: Tue, 16 October 2012, 12:20:56 »
Ive seen some floating around, custom ones like Click Clack skulls but theyve got a little generic masked hero on them. Well, I really really like them and was wondering who created them and if he/she had made any for buckling spring? Any info would help! Thanks! =]

Boost made then and I think he only made them in MX, but not positive.

Correct, only in MX.  Unless he made some that I missed.

The one on the left is for ALPS switches but it was only a prototype (not SuperHero but was made by boost):

The one on the right is of course, SuperHero v1! (in Cherry MX)  :)

These are much rarer than CCs!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Reaper has the only superhero with that mouth and the only alps key. 3 V1 SH are out there but Reaper has the most unique one.

I have the only BS and Topre Superhero which will not be released since the superhero series has stopped and will not be produced again. There will be hope for robogeek but that's another story.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure I posted a picture of my superhero a while back when I bought his Poker, but I'll post it again at some point.  I may have just gotten a new board which I'll put it on and post pics once I get it :D

OEM, the one on mine had the stem slightly askew so it's off center when you look right at it. Doesn't keep it off my key cap show board though.
