its crazy - I started with a counter showing 304 - and 20 minutes later it is 398 ....

I think I buy a full set for my son as well - so he has something solid when he grows up he is 4 now  :thumb:

QUESTION - the spacebar is standard 6,25 units long right? if so why is there another 6.25 extra available?

I have the same question. Does the standard base kit come with a 6.25 space bar?

Yes, it will be as on the mockup.

The extra spacebar is just an option to have a replacement, since the spacebar is the most used key.

Goddamit I can't get the gh key by itself :( I already have a granite set but I have no modifiers. I guess I will just have to stick with mine the way it is... :(
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Gamer kit seems really expensive. So does enter/esc & ISO enter.

Really hope we can get better tiers with the blatantly obvious interest.

Well even if we does get higher tier it will be anyway just like $1-2 less. So still rip-off  :p

And as a lovely European I have to calculate with another circa 25% of customs+taxes. Where are you China when we need you

You'll only be able to get OEM profile keys from China. Anything SP is made in the US.

Looks like they should fix the description for the specialty kit:

Quote
Specialty Keys $14.99
This set includes extra homing keys with slight depressions in the keycap for orienting purposes. This set also includes F and J keys without homing modification, in case you want to modify the Common Set to be 100% uniform throughout.

Sorry for the stupid question , but Common kit is auto included when i join ? Then i add kits i want  am i right ?

on another note , Very glad an iso compatible keycap drop is happening , but adding 51$ for iso and international is kinda expensive when you won't use half of those keys .

Common kit is the default selection when you add. Then you just add more kits on top of it. The different kits have subtracted costs since they cost less than the common kit. Unfortunately the international kit tries to encompass every possible key - a solution might be to find a buddy who needs the keys in the international kit that you don't need.

As I'm ordering two International kits (1 for me and 1 for my brother) there is room to split with someone else.

Just for comparisons sake, R1 had 2192 total kits sold (when you count the way massdrop is). I'm fairly disappointed that Massdrop didn't adopt a pricing schedule similar to PMK (where prices drop based on total purchases of each kit vs everything staying the same price except the common kit). The way Massdrop set this up is people who buy popular kits subsidize people who are buying the less popular ones. If MD wants to do broad/complex sets like this in the future they really need to step up their game, so far their work is very underwhelming.

Check your Massdrop transactions to see if you have the common kit in there. You may have changed the first kit to something else.

If you didn't check out with a Common Kit in your basket then you didn't buy the alphas.  You have to select it from the list and add it to cart.

Yeah, but you can check your order before you get charged.

You'll have to add another kit and select common kit. Then you'll be fine.

They will charge you the final total value once the drop ends. If you cancel your order before the drop ends and you were already charged in PP, it will automatically have a scratched amount on your PP meaning the charge was  cancelled

Managed to get it down to $150. Can get to $120 if I don't get a pro kit. The CA tax is killing me though. For $10 tax I could have bought another small kit.

Update: Have a pending sale/trade, also have backup for now.

-----

I'm looking Pro Modifiers Text/Icon - 1 unit keycap for: Tab, Backspace, and FN. They are for my Goldtouch numpad.

PM if you have these extras. Also can trade you Enter (blue) + Esc (red) Icon.  I'm in US-CA.

Thank you!
