I have some questions.

What does the DT stand for on the neerdom key?
What does the U stand for in the  1u, 1.25 u, 1,75u and so on
What is the Mono Legend for?
What is the difference between standard and pro modifiers?
What is Extra homing for?
Is the Icon modifiers your design? is there any logic? they look great! :)

Everything looks awesome! just new on the keycaps world, Sorry for extremely stupid questions ;)

The u is for units.  It indicates the size of the key cap.

The typical key cap is 1u.  These are your alpha keys.  Other sizes are usually a factor of 1u.  So a Win/OS key in a Tenkeyless (TKL) layout is said to be 1.5u, or 1.5x the horizontal length of an alpha key.  The spacebar is - I believe - 6.25u.  This is a rough standard used in the keyboard enthusiast community.  You'll notice some keyboards (especially something like the MS Natural Keyboard line) don't adhere to any particular standard.

Edit: For your other questions...

DT is Deskthority, a web site similar to geekhack (/ducks).  http://deskthority.net/

Monolegend is just for people who don't want top & bottom legends printed on their keys.  They know that the $ sign is on the #4 key, so they don't need to see a "4" and a "$" printed on the same key.  It's a personal preference.

Pro modifiers are for people with special boards like HHKB and Pure -- I don't have sufficient knowledge of these to give you an accurate list.

Extra home row is for people who use a non-QWERTY alpha key layout like Dvorak.  The F and J keys are typically made with a homing "bump" or a deep dish -- the key cap is different so your fingers can find the home row easier.  So guys with a Dvorak layout need different homing keys because F and J are not on their home row!

I can't really answer your last question.   ;)

Actualy Pro Mods is the next generation of Tsangan in GH language :D but is more complex and contains caps to cover custom keyboards. Very nice kit a must have I would say if you like custom boards.

Always get the Pro Mods.

You'll kick yourself if you want migrate the set to another board, only to find that you don't have all the mods necessary.

Pro mods helps to cover non-standard and custom layouts. In my particular case I have my caps lock binded as ctrl, so it would cover that. And I also have a separate numpad that contains tab, backspace, and function keys, so it would help to cover that as well.

Thanks, I may have oversimplified it a little.

I guess this applies to Mono Legends too.  If you want to be fancy (and have a fancy keyboard) you could have an & key that was separate from your 7 key in the number row, etc.

Halp!

My numpad has esc, tab, backspace, and fn.  The Icon Pro Modifiers Set would cover all except the esc.

Also thanks for the responses to my other questions everyone.

Assuming you're also picking up a common kit, you could substitute one of the GH/reddit/DT keys. That would probably be the most cost effective solution.

Yeah I will definitely pick up the common kit as well.  I suppose I could use one of the community keys, I just really like the esc icon.  I might want to get the Multimedia set, and then I could use the power icon as well, but I was trying to go no RGB.

Edit: nevermind I just realized that the Mono Legends Set has a grey ~ key, and I was going to get that set anyways for replacing the top row on my 60% with just symbols (!@# etc), so the esc icon can go to the numpad.  Brilliant!

A bunch of the Icon Modifiers are specified in ISO 9995-7.

If you're referring to the mockup from Keyzus, that's just a wish from another user (who has been hurling abuse at my inbox for having a different opinion), not the real deal.

The most recent version of the gamer kit from Matt3o is at http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=61612.msg1439994#msg1439994 and it does have an invader and a heart but no Nerv (and is better than Keysuz suggestion imho).

I believe the Nerv cap was part of R1 though so you might be able to get it from the classifieds.

Yeah. I think we need a rule that people can't make their own ****ty mockups that look almost identical to the actual ones, it made this thread very confusing. [I'm following it super close but I bet some people aren't and are confused.]
