Ooops on my Kinesis mod
« on: Fri, 06 May 2011, 19:29:16 »
Anyone happen to know what the PCB path is for the delete key? Looks like it's a multi level PCB and I didn't consider the circuits that were running in between the top and bottom layers. The only key that is not working is my End and Delete key. The End key is easy enough since I knew that one was going to be interfered with when I cut the PCB. However the Delete key is the only one that doesn't work now. I just need to figure out which pin on the ribbon cable to solder to which port on the switch.

false alarm. The delete key is the first pin on the ribbon cable. End key is the second. I just wore the connections loose

I just realized you must have pinouts for the entire board....true?

Can you post? A great resource shared....

The function key pinout is attached below and probably won't have one for the bowl's until my keyboard is converted from hard-wired to modular so I won't have to take it back apart twice :)
