Howdy clackers! Im doing an IC for a split keyboard and designed an extra pcb This one has all throuhole components and runs off a pro micro. It is untested, but I have some on the way.
Ifd anybody out there wants to make a split ortho, but doesnt want to handwire you can test out my pcb! It can be purchased from easyEDA for around 30 for 10 pcbs. It uses the same trrs connector as the ergodox. https://github.com/climbalima/split-pcb-throughole (https://github.com/climbalima/split-pcb-throughole) Github link

Looks great! I'll be doing a split matrix http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/941c1a33a3370eec9ba0165341e6ce63 (http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/941c1a33a3370eec9ba0165341e6ce63) soon, but it'll be handwired. Since it's hardware wired (for now?) a PCB seems pretty daunting to me, especially since I want to make two methods of connecting the halves. Think wired when separated, but no wire when snapped together.

going to be building some of these soon. ;D

As i can see, the pcb is just usable from one side, right? Not as, for example, the ErgoDox pcb.

The v2 is reversible. This version is not.

does that mean the PCB goes both ways?

The time you release v2, i definitely will build one
