I just poked into this "Media" forum for the first time tonight.  I'm going to post pics of my keyboards when the last three come in and some keycaps.  I'm not going to wait for the Round Four ones though, but the Cream Cheese and Green are shipping now.

I just modded my Pure that I primarily use for gaming and junk. I stuffed the inside of the board with a cheap mouse pad. Added a bunch of weight to keep it stationary and made it more solid. Oh, I have more Pures on the way ;o

More PBT.

Is that a Pure with LEDs? If so, do they still shine around those keys? Looking to get a Pure, but also wonder if LEDs are worth getting if I'm going to replace the keycaps eventually.

I was wondering, and I didn't want to start a new thread about it, do Pure's have the same LED issues as the Race keyboards? IE, dimming, flickering after a few weeks.

So is this essentially the "Post your Pure" thread? I'll treat it as so for now.

"Hank the Tank" Vanilla Pure with no back lighting. oneproduct case, titanium Terran key, PBT keys now with ergo clears and O-rings so it types relatively quiet. Signed on the back by some of the best terran players in the world: MKP, Alive, and Taeja. Hopefully I can get Thorzain and MvP another time:

I would presume aluminium case, red switches.

Obviously I need to; twist the stem on the silver cap so it lines up correctly, get a cherry profile short shift & caps lock, and buy a decent camera.  Other than that I'm happy with it so far.

That terran key is awesome, better than any plastic version I've seen so far.
Any chance to find one for protoss?
Btw do you play with it? If so don't you miss the F keys for locations?
I'm planning on buying a Poker or Pure for work, would be great if it could also replace my choc mini I use at home.

The terran key is from a set, only six sets were made and I found someone that was willing to sell just the terran key. It is the escape key so I guess I do play with it there, but I don't really hit escape too often. When I play SC2 I normally use a TKL board, and when I play FPS and MMOs I use the Pures sometimes.

Mine were kindly donated by a Cherry G80 (hence the lack of short-shift and CAPS) which was bought for the purpose and is looking forlorn on the floor next to me.  But if you want OEM caps rather than Cherry profile, then you can get *most* of the caps fairly easily, for example, I believe imsto does blank sets, etcetera.

Fairly easily? Ive looked on every taobao item and every vendor forum. There simply seems to be no one offering blank black PBT with small right shift. And it would be more awesome if someone actually offered the official Pure engraved black set. I don't want some incomplete mashup.

Buy a Tsangan kit with groupbuy keycaps. It includes 1.75x rshift.
I didn't want to do this, but people please stop messaging me about the factory PBTs. They're still hard to come by for some reason and I had to pry my set out of someone's hand (white ones is another story). If I dig up a few more sets, they're going to be for me... Since I've matched OP's Pure count.

Did you just buy the base set and leave the original R-shift key on there?  I'm tempted to do just that because paying for a whole Tsangan kit for just one key seems a bit too much...

I thought about doing a green, but I like how the offwhite turned out.  There're some imperfections I need to sand down and redo, but I need more white and light to do that.

Hmm I noticed they used different spacebar stabilizer bars. 1 of mine has a straight bar. 2 others I've opened has the 2 bends in the mid section. The straight bar rattles less. Can't believe I didn't notice this when I put on my PBT caps. I only noticed when I wanted to see why this one had no annoying spacebar rattle (which is from the stabilizer bar).
