Velvet and black chips are already me since r1. You can the photos for red. Ask for black it is like below

As you can see the colour chips are 98% accurate to my final boards

The variance is due to the finishing. Colour chips dont get finishing,

Purple is probably the biggest color for me.  Preferably as close to #6441A5 as possible.  It looks like you are on the right track though Catweewee.

Yep you can choose your top, bottom, and plate colours.

Since the form only lets choose one color if I did want different colors for the top and bottom which one would I enter?

Actually when doing r1, they were free to chose between wk and wkl. Both were offered at the same price as well. Even offered addtional tops. Still only 4 wk orders. Thats 13%. Of the 30 units ordered, only 4 wk. I can add a survey, and decide if its worth making wk too.

if you look at GBs that are worldwide, most of them still prefer WKL over WK at about 55/45 in the weakest cases, and 80/20 in clearer cases

this doesn't apply for 60%, but HHKB is still very popular

I've never seen another WKL 75%, I think that's one of the things that sets this apart from your standard 75%. I will definitely be in for a WKL.

Not that I necessarily want a Windows key but in a compact layout like this it does give you a little more room for a Fn key or something.

You can always program the caps lock as ctrl. Problem solved I'm an all-time Mac user and that's what I do as with HHKB.

No one uses it that much anymore. I remember some of the old programming languages tried to enforce certain coding styles as the use of capital letters for the reserved identifiers We are very fortunate nowadays.
