I'm just wondering how a 14 year old can code with a busy schedule, and at least learn coding. I don't want to become a prodigy software developer or anything, i'm just wondering how i can get better with practice.
I am currently learning c from "The ANSI C programming language 2" and i am stuck on the operators section with the % symbol. I've seen it in all kinds of code and i don't know what it means.

One way is to start with building an interactive website using JavaScript. Not every one thinks this is the best way but the barrier for entry is almost non-existent as you don't need to install anything to start writing code. You already have a text editor and a browser. Just keep in mind that JavaScript can be strange... and it's quirks are not something you will have to deal with in other languages. Though you can still learn some good programming fundamentals with it.

Most people start by finding a decent IDE. My first 'IDE' was Arachnophilia (https://arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/index.php) (1999) but from what I can tell by current trends such an 'IDE' would dominated by most basic markdown editors.

Kids today.
We didn't have the luxury of an IDE. Or code completion. Or online library reference.

But if you had the choice of some fancy IDE instead of using Ed, would your past self continue to use Ed?
