GMK Beige Addon & Extension
As its name implies, it's beige. Why beige? Because beige is a pretty common colorway. Although I personally think it's boring, but it's great for this because you can find beige sets relatively easy to pair with this. I've been working on this along with DCS Vert (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=115434.0) for some time now, and I want to share it to you guys, and I also like to get some feedback on this. I know that I am running an IC for a DCS set in parallel, my actual plan is to run this after DCS Vert. But recently I saw that there're a few beige sets popping up, so I thought this would be useful to some people.

Laur and I will be making a new mold for this with this legend for people to use.
We will use ANSI Enter stabilizer positions instead of ISO like what GMK has rn.
It would make it a lot easier to use on boards with fixed ANSI plate layout.

it's weekend, and i just have time to write this.
considering this is my first time working with gmk, it has been really tough for me. i want to thank ankit, laur, blunt, hiney, geon, mike and my friends for helping me and giving me tons of information through out the entire ic process. even though it's not much, it means a lot to me. i don't wanna make this too dramatic, so just go checkout their projects.

ansi layout
red circle: ansi enter & pipe key (we'll move it a little bit, so it fits pipe key position)
blue circle: ansi enter stab
why is there an additional switch/stab mount? idk. that's how sp does it. it’ll not be present in our version tho. :)

If you’re in a state where you pay tax, and you’re getting some of these kits and hineybeige base, shipping from Oblotzky once is cheaper than paying tax and shipping twice, and these kits are cheaper there too. You probably get you stuff 6 weeks faster too.

we are now halfway through the gmk beige add on gb. i'll be honest, sales aren't going well right now. please consider supporting this project, it would be a real bummer to see it fail. regarding sales graph, i’m still waiting for some vendors to update their numbers. we’ll post it asap.

As someone that was interested and apart of the kitting discussions of GMK 2002 addon before mcmcmc took over I would appreciate to hear the reasoning behind the kitting changes after the handover from Poesjuh, which in turn inherited it from pngu. Now it looks to be exclusive WKL kitting as all the 1u bottom row supers was removed. Yet 1.25u mods in both R4 and R5 is included/kept but not expanded to include Fn+2x Super/Win, maybe useful for some Alice/Alice-like layout ?.

this is going to sound cocky but. because my set has r0&r5 kit which has keys for the normal bottom row. i don't understand why i would not add r5 1.25 keys for people who want to use it. limiting people who want to use the normal bottom row to r4, is oppose to my intention for this set ("Yet 1.25u mods in both R4 and R5 is included/kept" this is not correct. old kitting does not include 1.25u mods in R5. (https://imgur.com/a/8aELvpw)) so i remove supers to make room for r5 1.25 keys. i made this changes 1-2 months before submitting for quotes. i don't see any complaints, so i move forward with it. in addition, i agree with pngu's statement on adding window keys "It would be in contrast to the inspiration and my ideas for this set." in conclusion, i prefer it that way. that's pretty much it.

I thought that ones intention with buying a colored addon kit was to add a splash of colors. Removing supers and by forcing people to combine it with your R0/R5 kit for usage of complete R5 1.25u bottom row does not do that, it just adds extra cost.
I think by using the kitting you linked would make it palatable to a wider audience, but what do I know ?

You'd probably get the set fastest if you order from Oblotzky because he's located in Germany.

Problem: Mechs & Co has cash flow issues and hasn’t paid Beige Addon and many other projects invoices.
Solution: I suggest you charge back now. You would receive GB prices. Order process would be that you email vendor with a screenshot of your Mechs & Co order confirmation, then they will email back the draft order. This only applies to Oblotzky, Hex Keyboards, Prototypist. I'm in process of talking to other vendors. Please keep in mind that each vendor has limited number of extras. If anyone doesn’t get their set, assuming Mechs & Co forfeit their orders, vendors will be able to dip in and sell more.

I'm at fault for choosing Mechs & Co as a vendor and I'm deeply sorry. I'll try my best to resolve this situation and make everyone happy.

Production renders. I believe that in the render they used GMK Rouge 2<3. I passed this along, and they have noted that it will use the mold for the WOB Essentials (2nd picture).
