I just bought my first cherry profile keyset a few weeks ago. The first thing I did was put the spacebar on backwards. I don't even know what it feels like to have set up the right way. You can hate me if you want, but it doesn't make a difference to me. Keysus loves me just the way I am.

Keysus would be proud

The good part for those complaining about some others flipping their space bars is that 6u space bars are not symmetrical, therefore, they cannot be flipped.

well you started your road to failure by buying cherry. but im glad you see that your way is the wrong way since you mention not setting it up the "right way".

No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

I tried this on my SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL and the spacebar would not press down all the way. Can someone please tell me why this didn't work???

I have a few boards with slightly warped spacebars and slightly off stabs where flipping it works better, but I generally prefer SA profile where it doesn't matter what orientation the spacebar is in

Discussions here are for entertainment. Do whatever you want; it just matters to you, as most details like the layout, keycap materials, case materials, switches. I learned a lot after I joined GH, and a few months later, everything began to be repetitive. I also learned a lot when I built my custom-made hand-wired board. After that, every discussion is just for fun.

I've become a hypocrite and started flipping due to my desk being higher than my arms rest, thus making it slightly easier to tap that space rather than have my thumb climb a mountain each time.

Flipping is far more comfortable imho, especially for gaming.

IF I am even using cherry...which is rare.
