Moin,

ich habe Vortex und Ducky kontaktiert was die Verfügbarkeit von thick PBT Tastenkappen im ISO DE Layout angeht.

Beide Hersteller stehen in den Startlöchern und könnten direkt produzieren.

Ducky hat bei der Nachfrage auf Caseking verwiesen:

"Sorry, we only can sell Keyboard and keycap set to Ducky distributor so I will contact Caseking, I hope they will start to sell Keycap set soon."

Caseking wiederum verweist auf Ducky:

"Diese Tasten sind bereits angefragt, aber leider nur sehr schwer zu beschaffen. Es wird noch einige Monate dauern, bis wir diesen Artikel verfügbar haben."

Vortex steht auch bereit, die kleinste Auflage (MOQ) wären aber 100 Sets.

If you want an ISO set and don't mind that the legends are for Nordic languages (QWERTY, with ÖÄ, etc) or blank then you can get sets from here: https://www.teraset.net/product_catalog.php?c=245&s=3

They actually sometimes have German layout sets for sale there, too.

If you want something a little different (High profile spherical doubleshot caps) in proper German layout, try here: http://www.keyboardco.com/product/double-shot-filco-105-key-german-keyset.asp

They have the Costar stabiliser inserts glued into the caps, but they can be removed if you have a board with Cherry style stabilisers, or you can replace the stabilisers with Costar style ones.

Thats a nice overview Oobly! I did know about these options although i dont think jimms ships to germany. Id still like some actual DE Layout PBTs ...

I was trying to get the vortex set when qwerkeys had them listed and finally switched to ansi after I couldn't get my hands on a PBT DE set. Never looked back since. Still good luck though.

Hallo,

Auf deutsch, weils nur deutsche betrifft :)

Caseking.de hat ISO PBT Keycaps von Ducky geordert, Mitte Mai kommt ein Sample, in ca. 2 Monaten sind Sie dann im Onlineshop erhältlich!

Farben (siehe Anhang): grau weiss grün blau
ist nur ein Beispielbild, das Layout ist dort Nordic. Caseking liefert aber defintiv deutsches layout!

Ich werde einen Testbericht online stellen, sobald ich die Tasten "antippen" darf.

Confused if I'm meant to speak german now...  ;D

Anyway, I converted to Ansi too and never really looked back.
(besides versatility, I really prefer the easier to reach non-split left shift for example)

However I still like using QWERTZ, and tend to go that way whenever using blanks for example tho.


So Im wondering if the sets will be Iso only or also include Ansi specific Keys (I kinda guess Iso only?).
If its possible to fill an Ansi board, I would be interested in a set just for the different legends!  :)

ISO 105 only i guess. No special ANSI keys (enter and some others are different).
It should be possible to replace the normal letters with ISO keycaps.

Ich kann's kaum erwarten, dass sie verfügbar sind! Habe Blanks und eine Ducky G2Pro mit gravierten Caps von Teraset und hätte liebend gerne ein beschriftetes PBT-Set für meine Majestouch-2.

Die Taste sind engraved, und vorerst wird es wohl nur diese Farbkombination geben.
Die Connection ist auf jedenfall da, und caseking ist da gerade sicherlich auch fleißig am kommunizieren.

Wir können gespannt sein was da noch kommt :)

Vielen Dank Doerri für den Review!

Mir persönlich gefällt die Farbkombination, auch wenn sie zur Filco meines Erachtens nicht optimal passt. Eher zu weißen Tastaturen, ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache.
Werd' ich mir aber dennoch auf jeden Fall gönnen! ;) Da kann man einfach nicht widerstehen, und ich mag den dezenten Look von gravierten Caps.
Ich hoffe, dass schwarze und weiße Caps auch noch folgen werden. Und von Dyesubs werd' ich sicher noch eine Weile träumen...

Alter wie geil! Endlich hochwertige Tastenkappen mit deutschen Layout. Ein Traum wird war.

Habe bis jetzt nur Doppelspritzguss-Tastenkappen. Bin sehr gespannt was da genau kommt.

Oh man, dass bedeutet wieder 'ne neue Tastatur  :p.

Bin auf jedenfall mit dabei.

Geht es hier jetzt nur um die Normalen oder auch die mit front print (siehe massdrop)? Weil die mit front print würde ich definitiv bevorzugen!

Wenn das auf die Ducky Caps bezogen ist - kein Frontprint, die sind engraved.

Are you guys opposed to blanks? The Gateron PBT Blanks might get an ISO enter. I think someone wrote they will also be doing dye-sublimation. If they don't, then maybe you can arrange a group buy with Imsto.

I wouldn't say I'm opposed, as I own a blank ducky iso kit made from thin PBT. I would like a thick PBT blank set too, but it's not too high on my priority list right now. Definitely after engraved, doubleshot and dyesub.

Damn, my order got cancelled, because they are out of stock. When I ordered, they definitely indicated that they are in stock. Bummer.  :'(

EDIT: Now my "cancelled" order was shipped. They are in stock again. Ha.

Ich habe die selben keycaps seit längerem auf meiner b.87 und finde, dass sie sich dort sehr gut machen. Fast schon als wären sie eben nur dafür gemacht. Klar der Preisliste etwas hoch, aber für die Qualität und die geringe Nachfrage schon fast wieder in Ordnung.

CaseKing scheint eine Lieferung von Ducky bekommen zu haben, jedenfalls ist ein Paket mit Ducky PBT ISO DE Keycaps in Blau/Grau zu mir auf dem Weg. :eek:

Soouu, also es is ja schon traurig das keiner in der Welt Lust drauf hat PBTs für den DEutschen Markt zu produzieren, in Deutsch haste nur die langweiligen grauen und schwarzen, und in US die ganzen designten, Transparent und bunt, da fühlt ma sich doch echt verarscht?!?!?! Was soll das??

Da muss sich in DEutschland erst ne US Tastatur kaufen um coolere Tasten Kappen zu kriegen, hä?

Sehr sehr schade, aber das heisst ich muss auf schöne Kappen Gift nehmen, weil du ja oft net mal die Tastatur die du willst in dem US Layout bekommst, muss ma einfach nicht verstehen, n Witz.........
