What's the point of the R3 2.25 shift?
Are you asking why it's R3 when it's clearly sitting on row 4? SP unfortunately doesn't have molds for R4 Shift keys.

Very slowly all kits are tipping. I'm a bit surprised that we didn't reach 25 PETSCII yet. It's the "raison d'etre" of this set. Get it now or regret it forever! :P

For me, I'm stuck on ISO. Wish I weren't, it would make things a lot easier.

If you give us an update in the last day or two, I might able to scrape together for another PETSCII set  :thumb:

Possible that unpaid-combined orders don't show until paid? I know I'm still waiting for my invoice for the petscii add-on to my original order.

Skully mentions something about other rows available on the bottom in the comments section for, what I assume, his design.  I'm frantically trying to find such announcement though and I'll have to shift through all the threads on the new PMK website.

edit:
If i may have jumped the gun please disregard.  BUT!  If you can confirm for us that sounds like it would be a pretty big deal according to that reaction.
Edit v2:
I maaaaay have dun goofed.  Searched and nothing.  I asked skully on PMK so hopefully we'll see.

Going over the child buys before I finalize my order, and a couple questions arose:
  • The Big Spacebars set comes with 6.25u and 7u bars, but aren't those included in the base set? Are they intended to be extras?
  • The Lime set comes with a R2 Esc. Where on earth would you put that?

Last time I checked (a couple of weeks ago) the shifts were still in R3.

1. yes, they are extras. The spacebars are already included in the base set
2. I'd be damned if I remember :D The JD40 maybe?

I'm probably going to end up ordering True Retro with a lot of mods, I've tried to resist, but I probably won't be able to

What's the surface type by the way, is it glossy again?

YES, you can not resist this, it's the Ultimate RETRO key-set to furnish any keyboard on the planet.

Even young Catholic Schoolgirls will note your prowess in showing such a HUGE key-set to them.  Never deny the young an opportunity to experience something truly "SPECIAL" in their lives  8) .

YES the surface type is Glossy like Scarlett's Lipstick.

Yes I know (as has been said so many times in this thread already ;) - you (and matt3o) offered to cover the rest if needed.
I just meant that when you order from SP, they have MOQ - I was curious about that.

sp dont really have MOQ's

they have price tiers, which start at 25

however, they are more that willing to make smaller amounts assuming you are willing to pay a premium to do so

Not sure this has been discussed so thought I would ask

Is there any way is blank ergodoxers could buy a set of blanco homing keys? Presumably we would need 4 blank packs and 1 ergodox pack but, we will be sans homies. Is this a possibility?

some we priced that way, some we didnt

right now, there are only 2 kits that sold more than the price point we set, and neither of those kits hit the pricepoint after that

that being said, everything is set to hit about where we wanted it to land by the end of the buy

with the exception of perhaps the numberpads and the true retro base kit, which look like they will fall 2 and 1 pricepoint away from what we thought respectively

this doesnt mean the buy is doing badly, we just had high expectations for this set

At least I'm glad I ordered the true retro base (although just 1) - I wasn't really decided until I read your "true retro needs more love" ;)

I can't believe true retro is behind burgundy. I'm normally all for differently colored modifiers, but the true retro is just so right for this set. Do people really like the burgundy modifiers better?

I'm going through some personal issues right now and I probably shouldn't be spending $200 on caps, but I know that petscii set will haunt my dreams if I skip it. I just need to sell some junk on ebay I suppose. :)

Now the only set that looks "right" to my eyes is the true retro.

CORRECTAMOONDO  8) .

The absolute, no bvllsh1t representation of a Retro Keyset is the C64 edition in all of it's ORIGINAL colour scheme  :thumb: .

Anyone wanting any extra colours is a complete girlie-man pretending to be a real Geekhacker.  Time to drop your panties and start assuming the position because you shall be gaped viciously for your pretense and sad addiction to more than two colours, on any keyboard layout.

4 days left to MAN up and pick a REAL, TRUE RETRO, key-set colour-way before you're run out of town  >:( .

This set is beautiful.. I'm in love with everything Commodore.

I'm new when it comes to mechanical keyboards for the most part, I just got a Quick Fire Rapid, and a Poker 3 and I just had one (newbish) question, the base set will fit both of those fine right? They look like they have 1.25's but its not a small amount of money so I just wanted to be absolutely sure before pulling the trigger.

no, I'm not!

Number one boobie right here...I like colors...besides...having true retro around would cause me to seek further purchase of said original Commodore 64...I really do miss mine, even though practically every game I had on 5.25 floppy disk took 30 minutes to load. Those were the days

Haha loading from the disks was such a nightmare, even from the 1571. Now you can get a SDIEC II or a 1541 Ultimate along with a JiffyDos chip and games load almost instantly. Never been a better time to be a C64 owner :).

I wonder how hard C64's are to find these days?
