Any word on extra pcbs or plates? Thanks.

A limited quantity will be available, but no word yet on specific timing. Maybe next week or the week after.

Edit: Preference will also be given to 1/60 and 1/65 owners, so no one will be able to scoop up all the extras in order to corner the aftermarket poly half-plate market :P

Good luck everyone! I'm quite fine with these B-stock external defects, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.. tried for all of the A-stock boards but either my fingers or latency from Singapore isn't fast enough

Hey gang, we'll close the form in about 40 minutes and pick winners. Invoices will be sent out fairly quickly and you'll have 24 hours to pay. All boards will be shipped out tomorrow morning.

Thanks so much to everyone who's entered. We had a ton of interest even in these b-stock boards. I know this run was really limited, and while we'll continue to have limited runs like these in the future, we'll also be mixing in much larger runs as well to hopefully reach many more people.

Happy MLK Day!

edit: Invoices sent. Thanks for everyone's interest!

I’m sure I can speak for most of us but please bring on the larger runs. I would still love to pick up a No. 1!

We're waiting until the remaining cases are sold before selling these, and we're waiting on some cerakote samples that should arrive tomorrow to determine whether those cases will be cerakoted or sold as b-stock. Expect a plan in the coming days, as well as some more info on what's coming next for Keycult in general. =)

While this is technically the "coming days," I hoped to have more information out much sooner and am still not ready to share more. Currently waiting to hear from some potential Cerakote suppliers before announcing our plans for the remaining boards (and poly partial plates/extra PCBs). I should hear back Any Day Now™. So let this stand as a tentative pre-announcement notice. Or something.

Hello all and @riotonthebay,

We've had someone ping QMK regarding support of this board(s).  If I could be pointed towards the pins used and the switch matrix, I can get them into QMK Configurator this weekend. Assuming these boards are QMK compatible of course.

Of course if these have already been programmed and are just sitting in a branch somewhere on Github, please kindly contribute via pull request, or make links more available so we can point people in the right direction.

Thank you very much for your time!

Alright! I was just informed that this is a Wilba PCB, therefore VIA! Problem solved lol. No need to flash PCB unless you absolutely want some of the additional QMK features.

Thanks for checking in! Yep, just for absolute clarity, these are WT60-A and WT65-A PCBs that ship with VIA compatibility. A bit more info as well as links to download the VIA Configurator can be found here: https://keycult.io/pages/no-1-60-no-1-65. If anyone needs more technical info, you can refer to the wilba.tech files already in QMK.

The No.2 is a TKL, says so in the post but I think we've known that since last year. Just got my bonus payment today so my wallet is ready.

Would you expect the larger releases to be less expensive than the limited releases, due to the volume of boards made correlating to a better price from the manu?

I hope so but can't promise anything just yet. Our CNC machining costs are increasing somewhat as of this year, which offsets some of the savings from volume. And as anyone who's produced a board knows, finding a reliable factory is very difficult and time consuming, so we can't necessarily turn away from our current source due to increasing costs. Just going to have to wait and see how everything shakes out.

Yikes where's my wallet for No. 2 or a cerakoted No. 65/60? On a side note, would it be possible to get one of the No. 60/65 raw or in the b/c-stock condition so we could cerakote ourselves?

We have plans for some much larger keyboard releases as well as more limited runs, accessories, and other miscellany. Stay tuned!

We're going to be cerakoting all of the remaining boards so that they can hopefully be sold as a-stock. I'm sure that some people would prefer a b-stock board that they can coat/finish themselves, but there's still a bunch of people hoping to get a board, and I think the large majority of that group would prefer to buy an a-stock board.
